BRITISH ART SHOW 10: A CHORUS OF STRANGERS

Visit the UK’s most significant exhibition of contemporary art as British Art Show 10 (BAS10) launches in Coventry.

Through an ambitious mix of painting, sculpture, film and installation, the featured artists explore vital themes of identity, belonging, memory, community and our relationship with the natural world.

Curated by acclaimed writer and curator Ekow Eshun, this landmark exhibition features more than 30 artists and explores how we relate to one another and our planet during a time of profound social, cultural, and environmental change.

The Youth Leadership Collective is an open and collaborative space for young people aged 16 – 21 from Coventry to work on shaping their leadership and creative skills. Through workshops, career talks and leading their own events they discover their voices and vision to shape the programme and advocate for the creative future of their generation in the city of Coventry and our region. Delivered in partnership with YMCA Heart of England.

ELDERS’ DANCE: OUT OF WHACK Out of Whack is an Elders’ Contemporary Dance Company for people aged 60+ who share a love of creative dance and public performing. They are a company of mixed experience dancers with a focus on creating new performance pieces that speak about collective identity. Dance artist Molly Wright choreographs weekly classes that are creatively challenging and ambitious.
