Located in Wellington and owned and operated by WLP, The Wanderers Club is a casual, multigenerational private golf and country club offering a full array of amenities and services centered around families, sports and the equestrian lifestyle. 2. What golf facilities does The Wanderers Club have to offer? The Wanderers Club is equipped with an 18-hole golf course, originally designed by Jacobsen Hardy Golf Course Design, as well as a driving range and two short game practice areas to warm up before your round. 3. Who is the Director of Golf at The Wanderers Club? Earlier this year, The Wanderers Club welcomed a new Director of Golf, Neely Robertson, to the team. Neely joined us from the renowned Lake Nona Golf & Country Club in Orlando, where he served as First Assistant Professional for five years. Nealy brings his expertise and passion to improve the day-to-day experience and overall operations at The Wanderers Club. 4. What is the golf experience like at The Wanderers Club? WLP has made significant investments in the golf course at The Wanderers Club to improve the everyday operations and experience. The Club has begun a major project to strip, level, soil-treat, and re-turf all the tee boxes on all 18 holes, which will significantly improve the golfing experience. Additionally, the Club will repair the drainage on several bunkers and add new sand to all bunkers this fall. The Club’s Golf Course Superintendent Brian Main has also been upgrading the regular maintenance practices on the golf course with increased investments in labor, landscaping, tree trimming, pesticides, fertilizer, and an entirely new fleet of golf course maintenance equipment. 5. Do you need a tee time to play golf?
