Autumn is the perfect season to capture your family’s story. For one Lexington family and a long-time client Tina, we met to talk about creating a portrait of her parents along with her sons, now grown, to capture three generations under one roof. This was not just a portrait, but a legacy—the essence of a family bound by love, laughter, and shared history. This portrait wasn’t only about the “now.” It was a love letter to the future—a reminder for generations yet to come of the strength and warmth found in family. And it was completed just in time as they lost her dad not long after the portrait was framed and delivered. What a comfort to have this portrait proudly hanging in a special place in their home.

Client Feature: The Miller Family Our relationship with the Miller family began when they reached out for their daughter’s senior portrait. From that rst session, it was clear we were a perfect t— their personalities and ours meshed seamlessly. Soon after, it was time for their youngest daughter’s senior portraits. As their story unfolded, the Millers asked us to create a family portrait that included their oldest daughter, now a college student. Though her rst senior portrait had been taken elsewhere, we captured her in this new season of life and then brought the entire family together in the following session. What began with a single senior portrait has grown into a home lled with beautiful wall art: each daughter celebrated in her own portrait, and the family captured together in a timeless piece.
