DEAR READER, THERE IS SOMETHING SPECIAL ABOUT A MAGAZINE.
Maybe it’s the fact that someone actually chose what you’re looking at. In a world of endless scrolling and algorithms deciding what appears in front of us, there is something refreshing about opening a magazine and simply discovering what’s on the page. That has always been one of my favorite things about publishing VUE. We get to curate the experience. We get to introduce you to people you may not know, places you may not have discovered, and ideas that might make you look at your own life a little differently. This fall, we’re exploring that idea through Home & Design. But home, I’ve come to realize, is about much more than the four walls around us. It’s about how a space makes you feel, the people you share it with, the memories you create there, and ultimately, the life you build around it. Our cover story with Justin Anthony and Kelly Wolf-Anthony is a perfect example. For 25 years of marriage, and nearly 30 years of building businesses together, Justin and Kelly have created a life that blends their individual talents and passions. Justin has built an incredible hospitality portfolio through True Story Brands, while Kelly has built Wolf Design Group into a respected name in luxury interior design. What makes their story especially interesting is how naturally those worlds come together. Kelly told us that one of the things she hears repeatedly from her clients is, “You’ve transformed the way I live. When we wake in the morning, I feel different.” That line stayed with me.
Because great design isn’t really about a beautiful room. Great hospitality isn’t simply about a beautiful restaurant. The best spaces have the ability to change your mood, transport you somewhere else and create a feeling that stays with you. Kelly put it another way: “Environment is critical to the way you feel from morning to night.” I think that applies to all of us. Think about the places where you feel most comfortable. The room in your home where everyone gathers. The restaurant where you always seem to lose track of time. The hotel you still talk about years later. Even the people who make you feel more like yourself simply by being around them. Our environments become part of our stories.
WE DON'T STOP PLAYING BECAUSE WE GROW OLD; WE GROW OLD BECAUSE WE STOP PLAYING.”
And that is what I love about putting together an issue like this. Yes, you’ll find beautiful homes, thoughtful design, remarkable restaurants, travel and some of the people helping shape Atlanta and beyond. But underneath all of it are stories about how people choose to live.
Maybe it’s time to rethink a room, try somewhere new, plan a trip, invite people over or simply make a little more time for the things that make you feel good.
That’s also why I still believe so strongly in the power of a magazine.
Life is short, and I think we should be intentional about the environments we create and the people we invite into them.
There is value in being able to sit down with something tangible. To discover a story you weren’t searching for. To turn a page and suddenly find yourself interested in a person, a place or an idea you hadn’t considered before.
Thank you for continuing to pick up VUE Atlanta and for allowing us to tell these stories. We’re proud of what we’re building here, and even more excited about where we’re going.
— GEORGE BERNARD SHAW
Here’s to a beautiful fall, good design, great hospitality and creating a life that feels as good as it looks.
Not everything needs to be dictated by an algorithm. Sometimes the best discoveries are the ones you didn’t know you were looking for. As we move into fall, I hope this issue gives you a little inspiration to look at your own surroundings differently.

THE NEW ERA OF
SKIN TIGHTENING
VUE: Where does XERF fit into a larger treatment plan? KALEN: I don’t look at tightening, collagen regeneration and complexion as completely separate conversations. XERF can work alongside resurfacing, NeoGen nitrogen plasma and other technologies targeting collagen, tone and texture. It’s about looking at what that individual patient needs and building the right plan around them.
Why XERF is getting attention in the ever-evolving world of non-invasive rejuvenation
VUE: With a seemingly endless stream of new devices entering aesthetics, how does one earn a spot at Blue Divine?
In aesthetics, there’s always something new promising tighter, smoother, younger-looking skin. The harder question is which technologies are actually worth paying attention to. XERF, a new generation of radiofrequency skin tightening, has caught the attention of providers for its ability to deliver energy at multiple depths while allowing treatments to be highly customized. VUE sat down with Kalen Wheeler, founder of Blue Divine Aesthetics in Buckhead, to find out what makes XERF different—and why it earned a place in her practice.
That fits the way I believe aesthetic medicine should be practiced: not changing someone’s face, but using technology strategically to help them look refreshed, firmer and still completely like themselves.
VUE: There’s no shortage of skin-tightening treatments out there. What caught your attention about XERF? KALEN: The customization. XERF combines multifrequency monopolar radiofrequency with multiple depth and intensity settings, so we can tailor a treatment to someone’s skin, anatomy and goals rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach. Real-time impedance feedback also gives us information about how the tissue is responding as we treat. VUE: Who tends to walk through your door asking for this kind of treatment? KALEN: Usually, it’s someone who doesn’t want to look different—they just want to address the changes they’re beginning to notice. Maybe the jawline isn’t as defined, there’s some laxity through the lower face or neck, or the skin simply doesn’t feel as firm as it once did. The goal is improvement that still looks completely natural. VUE: And what does the treatment itself feel like? KALEN: XERF uses integrated cooling to help keep the skin comfortable while the radiofrequency energy is delivered. There are no needles or required numbing, and patients can return to their normal routine afterward. At Blue Divine, we also offer Pro-Nox for additional comfort when appropriate. VUE: We have to ask: If XERF is reaching deeper tissue, what about the concern over facial fat loss? KALEN: Going deeper doesn’t automatically mean destroying fat. XERF is designed for controlled, customizable treatment. Its different depths and intensity settings, along with real-time feedback, allow us to adjust treatment based on the individual. That precision matters on the face, where we want firmness and structure without sacrificing natural-looking volume. VUE: Is this an instant-gratification treatment, or more of a slow burn? KALEN: A little of both. Some patients may notice an initial tightening effect, but XERF is also designed to stimulate progressive collagen remodeling, so improvement can continue to develop over time. I actually like that—the change is gradual and can look very natural.
KALEN: I don’t bring in technology simply because it’s trending. I look at the science, the patient experience and whether it genuinely adds something to what we can offer. XERF stood out because of its depth, precision and customization.

Summer ROARING TWENTIES SOIRÉE IN THE HEART OF ATLANTA BY JADA WILLIAMSON
On August 20th, VUE Atlanta hosted a chic, summer soiree that was the bee’s knees! Our “Another Endless Summer” event had a 1920s, Great Gatsby theme that was enjoyed by all. Guests arrived in their best Roaring Twenties attire, outfitted in elegant flapper dresses and beaded headpieces, dapper suits and fedoras. Guests walked the red-carpet entrance and found complimentary accessories waiting for them at the door. Downstairs, attendees played casino games including roulette, danced the night away, sipped speciality cocktails, and enjoyed fine cigars. It was an evening of glitz and glamour. The evening supported a great cause. All proceeds raised awareness for Ferrari of Atlanta Rides to Remember Foundation, an organization that raises funds for Cure Childhood Cancer, Atlanta Ronald McDonald House Charities, and Camp Sunshine. A special thank-you to all who came out and made this a night to remember. All of our partners and contributors are greatly appreciated. The evening was truly unforgettable. Until next summer!

SKINCARE EDIT
Declutter your skincare routine and elevate your glow BY REBECCA COBLE | SKIN BEAUTY BY BECCA We spend so much time thoughtfully creating our homes: clearing clutter, creating beautiful spaces, and choosing pieces that make everyday life feel a little more elevated. So, why wouldn’t we give our skincare routine the same attention? If your bathroom counter is overflowing with half-used serums, old samples, and products you're not quite sure how to use, consider this your sign for a product detox. Because great skin isn’t about having more, it’s about choosing better. Start by pulling everything out. Check expiration dates and look for changes in texture, color, or smell. Let go of products you never use, formulas that irritate your skin, and those samples you’ve been saving for a trip since 2023. Next, simplify. Think of your skincare routine like a beautifully designed room: every piece should have a purpose. Start with the essentials: a cleanser that is appropriate for your skin, targeted serums, moisturizer, and a daily SPF. Let your skincare become part of your space, organize it around your routine or display your daily favorites on a beautiful tray for an effortlessly elevated touch. A more intentional home creates space to live better. Your skincare should do the same, with less clutter and more room to glow!
Pro Tip: Most skincare should also be kept away from direct sunlight and excessive heat. 2 6 AT L A N TAV U E . CO M

Wines TO S AVOR IN 2026 BY MALACHI UMEH
A great bottle of wine can set the tone for an evening. It can turn dinner into a special occasion, make a gathering feel all the more memorable, or serve as the perfect gift
when you don’t want to show up empty-handed. Whether you prefer something bold and complex or crisp and refined, there’s always a bottle suited to the moment.
Pasqua’s Mai Dire Mai Amarone della Valpolicella 2016 — $130 An Italian red wine sourced from the 23-hectare Montevegro Vineyard. The grapes are carefully handpicked and dried for up to four months before fermentation, then aged for 24 months in new French oak. It has aromas of woodland fruit, Marasca cherry, cedar, cocoa, and leather. The wine is rich and full-bodied, with flavors of dark fruit, chocolate, clove, and mocha.
Bodegas Hispano Suizas Tantum Ergo Chardonnay & Pinot Noir — $64
French Bloom, La Cuvée Vintage 2023 Blanc de Blancs— SRP $119
A sparkling white wine made using the traditional method in Requena, Spain. Made with Chardonnay and Pinot Noir (Blanc de Noir) from organic vineyards at 700m elevation. Fermented in new French oak barrels and aged on the lees for a minimum of 30 months. The wine is creamy and complex, with ripe white fruit, pastry, nutty nuances and subtle vanilla notes.
This wine is a milestone in the luxury non-alcoholic wine industry. Blanc de Blancs is made from organic Chardonnay from Limoux, France, aged for eight months in French oak barrels. It has a complex and sophisticated taste, with grapefruit and apple flavors combined with warm notes of toasted bread, vanilla, and roasted nuts.
Moone-Tsai, Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 2022 — $140 A rich red wine from California’s famous Napa Valley, made to pair with a fancy steakhouse dinner. Medium- to full-bodied, it features flavors of dark fruits like black cherries and plums, mixed with warm scents of cedar and vanilla from 20 months in 70% new French oak. Established by MaryAnn and Larry Tsai, the winery is celebrating the 20th anniversary of its first release this year.
Neyen De Apalta - Neyen Espiritu de Apalta 2018 — $95 A unique, high-end organic blend made with 50% Cabernet Sauvignon and 50% Carménère. The grapes come from centennial, ungrafted vines and are handharvested before being matured for 14 months in French oak barrels. It is known for notes of dried herbs, candied cherries, black plums, blackberries, and vanilla. Its chewy, smooth tannins add structure while keeping the wine balanced.
Karas Wines, Grand Karas 2017—$69.99 Grand Karas represents the pinnacle of the estate’s winemaking, offering an elegant expression of Armenia’s ancient winemaking heritage and the distinctive terroir of the Ararat Valley. Crafted from a blend of Syrah, Cabernet Franc, and Montepulciano, the wine is grown in volcanic soils rich in basalt, limestone, and volcanic tuff. Aged for 14 months in Armenian and French oak, followed by an additional year in bottle, Grand Karas develops remarkable depth, structure, and complexity. Rich, powerful, and refined, it captures the distinctive character of Armenia’s volcanic terroir.
Ehlers Estate, La Perdiz 2023 — $75 A 100% organic Cabernet Franc made in St. Helena, Napa Valley, during the 2023 growing season. Produced in small batches, with around 100 cases handcrafted using minimal extraction. The wine also received 96 points from James Suckling and is known for being vibrant, fresh, and elegant.
A peek inside the Atlanta power couple’s home, 25-year marriage, and thriving businesses BY VANESSA PASCALE PHOTO CREDIT: SARA HANNA 3 0 AT L A N TAV U E . CO M
“I leave my office and I go find my husband, wherever he is,” says Kelly Wolf-Anthony about her after-work ritual with husband, Justin Anthony. “I've never gone home. I've never gone to the gym. I've never gone out to dinner with girlfriends in 27 years.” After all these years, Justin and Kelly still can't get enough of one another. And when Justin had one restaurant, which was only open at night, he would go to Kelly’s office during the day to help out. “I think that's why we're so strong and we're still together, because the restaurant business is very hard to withstand as a couple. I made a decision very long ago that that is my guy. Around 4:30 pm every day, he calls me, ‘Where are you?’ He also wants to see me. So, we find each other.” Justin, Kelly, and I are seated in a cozy corner of the Anthony’s restaurant, Lions Head Private Members Club. The chic Buckhead restaurant is buzzing with members mingling at the bar, sipping fine wine, and devouring exceptional South African-inspired fare. I met Justin at Lions Head over a year ago through my good friend, Sara (the photographer for this cover and feature), who is a member. Every time I’ve been here, I’ve observed Justin, wine glass in hand, mingling with the members throughout the night. Kelly would be doing the same. The glamorous restaurateurs work the room as though they’re hosting an intimate soiree. And they’re always dressed as if they just stepped out of a VOGUE photo shoot. During my evenings here, Justin would find his way over to us and regale us with fascinating anecdotes, which was the catalyst for me wanting to share the couple’s story. Fate lured Justin and Kelly to the same rug store the very first week that Justin was in Atlanta. Both moved to Atlanta around the same time (1995 and 1996), while they were in their early 20s, to pursue their passions. Justin, a native of South Africa, relocated to Atlanta after attending the University of South Africa and London Business School, to play professional soccer (his knee injury resulted in him pivoting into hospitality). And Kelly moved here for design school. The timing wasn’t the only coincidence; they just happened to reside on the same street. “Different apartment complexes, but on the same street!” shares Kelly. Their rug-store meet cute was brief but memorable, at least for Justin. “Kelly doesn't remember meeting me, but I remember meeting her. I wanted to know who she was the second I saw her. She became ‘The Rug Girl’ and I would see her all around Buckhead. Back then, Buckhead was a different place with all the bars and clubs. ‘There’s The Rug Girl!’” AT L A N TAV U E .CO M 3 1
There is an adage that goes, “What’s meant for you, doesn't always arrive on your timeline, it circles you until you’re ready to receive it,” which rings true for this Aries pair [“I’m Pisces Aries, she's Aries Taurus. That's probably why we balance each other out,” says Justin.]. A few years pass. Justin and Kelly are both newly single, so a mutual friend invites Kelly to Justin’s restaurant, 10 Degrees South, the first South African restaurant in America. “Kelly walked in the door and I said, ‘Ohmygod, it's The Rug Girl!’” His blind date was the woman he had been pining after for years, and their matchmaker of a friend had no clue. “That was fate. He was tracking me all over town for 3 years. It was divine intervention,” says Kelly. “And we've been together ever since then,” says Justin. In the late ’90s, Justin and Kelly were steadfastly building the thriving careers they have today. Kelly founded her interior design studio, Wolf Design Group, in 1996. And Justin opened his first restaurant, 10 Degrees South, in 1998; this was only the beginning of what would evolve into South African-inspired hospitality group, True Story Brands, whose portfolio today includes Atlanta hotspots: Lions Head Private Members Club, Yebo Beach Haus, and The Cape Restaurant & Beach Bar. Lions Head has a sexiness and warmth that encourages guests to linger a bit longer than usual. When I ask for a word or two to describe the feeling they wanted to evoke here, they answer: authentic luxury. “Luxury doesn't always mean the most expensive. Luxury can mean a very comfortable sofa that is from the ’70s. Luxury is very specific to each individual,” says Justin. Justin and Kelly’s strengths are fully on display in Lions Head. “Hospitality and design go hand in hand,” he says. “A lot of people don’t realize that but the second you enter a home, a restaurant, a private flat, it's all about design and how 3 2 AT L A N TAV U E . CO M
you feel. The first appearance is everything. Kelly is a master of appearances. And the hospitality side is, how are you treated? How are you served? It's been a great thing for us that we are a team, and we've been able to build this phenomenal brand around design and hospitality.” “We said we had to find each other because we were symbiotic of each other,” adds Kelly. Members and restaurant guests are always telling them how at home they feel in their restaurants, which is precisely what the Anthonys intended. “The second you walk through the doors of any of our restaurants, you'll be transported to a place you might not know, you might not recognize. It doesn't feel like you're in Atlanta and that's very important. Kelly's very good at transporting people. If you're having a bad day, we want to make it good. If you’re having a good day, we want to make it better. And that's the ethos we live by,” says Justin. A shared vision, passion, and complementary qualities fuel this romantic and professional partnership. The Anthonys are incredibly thoughtful and protective of what they have built and are building. All of their businesses were executed on a “shoestring budget,” without any loans or investors. “We did it all on our own,” says Kelly. “When you think about what we've done and how many restaurants and how many businesses… I think that's pretty epic.” Now, Justin and Kelly are taking all of the knowledge acquired from their world travels and being in the hospitality and design industry for thirty years to create a luxury lifestyle brand of their own. “We're getting more into private clubs, luxury, boutique hotels, lifestyle components,” says Justin. This past January, the Anthonys broke ground on their second Lions Head and Yebo Beach Haus in Ponte Vedra, Florida. Slated to open fall 2027, the storied
restaurant, which is nestled on the St. John’s River, will house Lions Head above, Yebo below, and be outfitted with a dock that guests can drive their boats right up to. Because it's a massive project ($30 million), this will be the first time Justin and Kelly take on investors. “We're very grateful for our partners,” shares Kelly. “We spent about a year looking at the area. A lot of wealth, very underserved,” says Justin. “We were like, ‘I think we could do something really cool here.’ We're building from the ground up. Kelly is designing it from the ground up.” Do you plan to go down there often? “Oh, yeah, anytime we open a space, we spend a lot of time there,” shares Justin.
LET ’S TALK BUSINESS Have you collaborated on all the restaurants together? Justin: We have. Kelly doesn't do any other restaurants. She only does our restaurants. She does hospitality, but on a larger scale, like wineries, museums, event spaces, jets… So, Kelly deliberately doesn’t design for other restaurants? Justin: Yes. This is just my personal opinion: Kelly is literally the greatest designer in the world. And we're trying to build something together. I want us to own the most beautiful spaces. Our restaurants are very, very sacred to us. I need Kelly’s touch on our spaces. And that can hurt business as well because she probably could have done hundreds of restaurants. Every time somebody comes into one of our restaurants, it feels completely different to any other restaurant anywhere. Kelly: It’s like a little secret sauce. Justin: You don't give the Kentucky Fried Chicken recipe away.
The second you walk through the doors of any of our restaurants, you'll be transported to a place you might not know, you might not recognize. It doesn't feel like you're in Atlanta and that's very important. Kelly's very good at transporting people. If you're having a bad day, we want to make it good. If you’re having a good day, we want to make it better. And that's the ethos we live by.” What is the plan for the next 10 years? Kelly: A yacht and a private jet is in my future [laughs]. Justin: We've already started. I see us building a really cool lifestyle brand around hospitality and design. We’re thinking globally. We have some things in the works around the world that we’re very excited about. Kelly: We have a lot of opportunities. There's one thing about the two of us, though, we're happy, we're good. We're not doing these things because we have to, it interests us. And we will only do things that will benefit us as a relationship and as a company. If it comes to us and feels right, we’ll pursue it. If it doesn't feel right, we’ll back away.
And that's something we've always been very good at. Justin: We follow our gut instincts and have backed away from things before –a lot of great things where we could’ve made a lot of money. Everything that we do has purpose and meaning. Goes back to authenticity. Kelly and I studied the private club model for 15 years. We actually opened the best version of the private club in Atlanta – I might be biased. We joined clubs around the world and we went to these places and we really honed in.
Justin: The harder you work, the luckier you get. But, it also takes a village. We have a great team around us. Most of our staff has been with us for many, many years. The more successful we are, the more successful our people will be. And that's just how we run our companies. And there’s times we haven't been successful. Kelly: We encourage each other. Justin: Entrepreneurship is not for the faint of heart. It is extremely challenging. It's 16-18-hour days.
What business advice can you share?
Kelly: And as a couple, it's 24/7. No, time off.
Kelly: Work hard. Look at your goals and work towards them. We worked really hard to achieve them.
Justin: We will be sitting in bed together. We are communicating via text to each other, she is sitting next to me. We’re just AT L A N TAV U E .CO M 3 3
so in the zone of what we’re doing. It's very, very tough because there's ups and downs of owning your own company. You have to be very disciplined. You have to have a lot of empathy because I don't know what she's going through, she's at her office all day. I'm at the restaurants all day. And then, we meet at night.
the way we live our lives.’ And that’s from the design side to the restaurant side, we’ve changed lives. I know that sounds really philosophical, but I really believe that. We changed the way people feel and their environments. Environment is critical to the way you feel from morning to night.
Kelly: We call it intermission.
Tell me the meaning behind the wolf (Wolf Design Group) and the lion (Lions Head).
Justin: It's from 5 to 6. We will grab a quick dinner, grab a drink. Catch up on the day. Tell me about your interior design firm. Kelly: I started Wolf Design Group in ’96. I got really, really fortunate to meet some very amazing clients. I realized at a very young age that if you do something really, really well for one person of means or very high-end clients, which I started with, they have a lot of really wealthy friends and family members, and they referred me one after another. Then, they have second homes and aircrafts. Once I started getting this repeat business, I consistently overachieved. Those clients I had when I was 26 years old are still calling me. We have a $500,000 minimum in purchasing. We know the value we bring to the table but that only comes with age and experience, honey. Justin: I told her $500,000 is too low. Great artists, whether they be singers, musicians, they charge an appearance fee just to show up. It's the same thing. Somebody's about to change your life for a long period of time, that's worth a lot. Kelly: My clients are more on the level of residential, hospitality, secondary homes. But what I hear on repeat is, “You've transformed the way I live. When we wake in the morning, I feel different.’ So, it's interesting that your environment does dictate and is so important to the way you live your life. We hear this all the time, ‘You've really transformed our lives and you changed 3 4 AT L A N TAV U E . CO M
Justin: Wolf is Kelly’s maiden name. And a lion is very powerful. If you have a lot of courage, if you're not scared, if you attack anything, whether you're an athlete or businessman, you’re like a lion. Lions Head is a very famous mountain [in South Africa] and Yebo Beach Haus was inspired by the beaches of Cape Town. People don't know that Lion’s Head, the mountain, overlooks all those beaches.
HOME & DESIGN How would you describe your design aesthetic? Kelly: In my business, it’s whatever my client needs. I’m very versatile, very chameleon-like. My clients, I adapt to all of their lifestyles and their particular interests or the way they want something to look. Our personal home, we're very collected. It's very much like this restaurant. We love art. We love texture. We love neutrals. We love animals. We love African. We lean modern and clean lines. Our current home was built in the 1940s, and was a hunting lodge. It's a really comfortable, cozy home. I don't think it will be our last home. We're really comfortable there but I think if we were to build a new home, we'd have the undertones of all of that, but it would be much more. Justin: Our home is very unique. It feels like something you'd see in Napa Valley. It doesn't look like a typical Atlanta [home]. What is your favorite room in your home?
Kelly: Our bedroom. That's command central. Our bedroom is the least sexy room in the house by far [laughs]. We just like being in bed together; we do all our business from there. Visually, not the most exciting room, but where we're most comfortable. The rest of the house is pretty put together and maintained. Our bedroom looks like an old age home: my red light therapy, his heating pad, his massager, our supplements all over our nightstands [laughs]. Do you two entertain at home often? We love entertaining at our home. We have a couple of rules. Rule #1: Do anything you want in the house, open any drawer, open any cabinet. Drink any liquor. Anything you want! Rule #2: Refer back to rule # 1. Whatever goes. We're not particular at all. Just enjoy yourself.
LOVE & MARRIAGE Your 25th wedding anniversary is coming up, how are you celebrating? Justin: We've been invited to some really cool stuff in Europe at the end of September. We might take a little trip. Nothing planned yet. Kelly and I are very spontaneous. We don't have children, so we will plan something really epic and cool. Or we might throw a party here! What is the traditional gift for the 25th wedding anniversary? Justin: Silver. I am already on top of that. Are you good gift givers? Justin: The best. Kelly: Every anniversary, he gives me something based on the year. I give him a new wedding ring every single year. This year, he'll have 25 wedding rings. What do you do with them? Justin: Back in the day, like, 20 years ago, when guys used to wear necklaces, I used

The best part is they're from all over: Bulgari. Tiffany, Gucci, Cartier. I have rubber, wood... Kelly: I had boxes made. Justin: I have two boxes for 20 rings each. So, one's full and the other has 4. I’m not the kind of guy that would wear one wedding band. I’m a big watch collector. I cannot wear the same band for the rest of my life. Men have watches, and if you’re married, a wedding band, that's it. What is your best piece of advice for a successful marriage? Justin: Respect each other. Kelly: We admire each other, and love each other unconditionally. Where he leaves off, I pick up. Where I leave off, he picks up. Allow that person to be the person that they are. Do not try to change them. This one, I can't change [laughs]. Justin: She has tried [laughs]. Kelly: I have. I have. Justin: I think every woman has it in their DNA to try and change us [laughs].
Justin: Nothing gets us more excited. What are we gonna try? Where are we going? Kelly: Beautiful hotels.
Justin: 100%! We are not earlybirds. We love waking up early when we do, but it's just...
Justin: We were just in Aspen, and we’re like, ‘Ohmygod, let’s go check out the new restaurants.’
Kelly: We’re here so late. And it goes back to our bedroom. We love being in bed, it's our happy place.
Kelly: We're not, ‘Let's go sit at the beach, put our feet in the sand’ people at all. Justin: New York City gets us. We actually want to get inspired. Kelly: We like traveling, seeing things, and challenging our brains constantly. At home, he's on Instagram looking at restaurants. I’m on Instagram looking at fashion and design. We never stop. We are passionate about what we do, passionate about our careers, passionate about our future. And our future includes design and restaurants. What would you say is your partner’s greatest strength? Kelly: Justin has a lot of great strengths but I would say he is an amazing person. He is a very grounded person. He really understands people and he's very good with people. He's a loyal person. He is a person of immense strength and love.
Justin: When we’re not in our restaurants, we're in other restaurants. We love dining out and experiencing different things. Everyone asks, what's your hobby? Like, I was a professional soccer player, I don't play sports. My sport is literally dining out.
Justin: I think loyalty and respect is a big thing for both of us. Kelly is the most talented person I've ever met in my life. Prince was a great artist, right? Seeing Prince perform and listen to his music like that is a talent. Kelly is that in design. It's very difficult for somebody to understand what you're thinking [in design]. She knows what I'm thinking, and she's able to put it into 3D.
Kelly: Wining and dining.
Are you early birds or night owls?
How do you spend your free time?
3 6 AT L A N TAV U E . CO M
Kelly: Night owls.
Justin: Even if we wake up early, we'll stay in bed and relax. Kelly: We'll be on emails and stuff. Justin: You don't have a lot of downtime in our industry. What time do you typically wake up? Justin: 7, 8 am. We're not in bed until 10 pm sometimes. Kelly: Depending on our day, our schedule. Justin: We'll be on calls and still working. If we have to physically be somewhere, then we will. Kelly: My office opens at 9 and closes at 5. I am there at 9:30 am and then leave at 4 pm. I'm in my office head down, working nonstop. Justin: That has taken years to get to where we are. Back in the day, at my restaurants, I had to be there at 8 am to get deliveries. Those were 18-19-hour days. We've paid our dues to be able to be in the sweet spot, where you can just relax. We're both in the CEO role now. We have our people that do what they need to do. Kelly: 30-year overnight success! As I wrap up our hour-long chat, I express how much I enjoyed hearing their love story. “We have a great love story,” says Justin. Kelly smiles and adds, “And it's a true love story, and we're still working on it.”

LOUIS XIII Cognac unveils BLACK PEARL: TRIBUTE TO THE BIRTHPLACE OF LOUIS XIII, a new, limited-edition expression of the Black Pearl collection inspired by Le Grollet, the revered cellar where the story of LOUIS XIII began.
This natural temperature evolution highlights the spectrum of the BLACK PEARL: warm spices, richer rancio, and whispers of chocolate.
The heart of this blend is an eau-de-vie selected by Cellar Master Baptiste Loiseau, carrying the timeless Le Grollet imprint. The BLACK PEARL is experienced through a first-of-its-kind, temperature-driven tasting ritual, which reveals the blend’s full character.
With only 398 decanters worldwide, this creation is housed in a reimagined LOUIS XIII decanter adorned with midnight-blue reflections. Inspired by the mystery of Le Grollet, the BLACK PEARL rests in aromatic stillness—an embrace of honey, wood, and patchouli, as if slumbering within ancient tierçons.
Infused in a single tierçon, the eau-de-vie “reveals hidden facets of LOUIS XIII, unveiling a richer, more profound essence, akin to uncovering ancient treasures,” said Loiseau.
LOUIS XIII BLACK PEARL will be available by the glass around the world, including Paris, London, New York, Shanghai, & Kuala Lumpur, inviting guests to experience the innovative tasting ritual.

Award-winning talk show host Tamron Hall on fashion as self-expression, commanding the conversation, and why Atlanta continues to inspire her BY ELISSA ROSEN
This is what staying power looks like.
A SHOW THAT BREATHES
Tamron Hall does not rush through moments. She inhabits them. In conversation, she listens with an attentiveness that feels increasingly rare—eyes steady, posture relaxed, the silences between questions intentional rather than awkward. It is the same presence audiences recognize on screen: a calm authority that does not demand attention but earns it. Hall has spent more than three decades in journalism and television, yet there is nothing rehearsed about her manner. She is warm without being performative, polished without being distant.
When The Tamron Hall Show premiered, Hall understood exactly what she wanted it to be, and what she didn’t want. Now, in the eigth season and with two Emmys under her belt, it appears her concept works. Season 8 of Tamron Hall premieres September 14th and she’ll be returning to WSB-TV.
At 56, Hall stands at a point many public figures never reach: total self-possession. She is not reinventing herself, nor is she trading on nostalgia. She is refining a life and career shaped by discipline, curiosity, and compassion. 4 0 AT L A N TAV U E . CO M
“I’m a journalist,” she says plainly, an identity that sits at the core of the show’s DNA. In a crowded daytime landscape dominated by celebrity press cycles and promotional interviews, Hall envisioned something more expansive. While her stage welcomes some of the most recognizable names in the world, it is the show’s elasticity that defines it.
One episode may feature a global cultural icon. Another may spotlight a woman in her nineties, newly dating, full of humor and possibility. “We can give you Teyana Taylor,” Hall explains, “and then turn around and give you Hilda, who’s in her 90s and dating. That’s the recipe.” That range is deliberate. Hall deeply believes that lived experience deserves space, regardless of fame. The result is a show that feels less like a broadcast and more like a gathering—intimate yet expansive, capable of holding joy, grief, humor, and resilience in the same hour. It is also why the show continues to receive recognition, including recent NAACP Image Award and GLAAD Media Award nominations. For Hall, those honors affirm something she has long believed: representation matters most when it is thoughtful, inclusive, and rooted in respect.
ATLANTA, IN MOTION Atlanta is a city Hall knows not just professionally, but personally. Over the years, her work has brought her here repeatedly for landmark interviews, cultural milestones, book tours, and personal visits. She speaks of Atlanta with the familiarity of someone who has watched it evolve, expand, and reintroduce itself time and again. “Atlanta is truly a city that changes every time I visit,” she says. “But it still feels like itself.” She attributes that balance to the city’s youthfulness and openness. Atlanta, she notes, is a place where women and entrepreneurs are allowed to break from the crowd—to build without apology. As a Southerner, Georgia feels instinctively familiar. As a creative, Atlanta feels energizing. Some of her most cherished relationships live here. There are favorite neighborhoods, favorite meals, favorite rituals. Among them:, which Hall insists is at its best in Atlanta.

What keeps her returning is the city’s momentum. Just when you settle into one favorite, something new opens. Atlanta resists stagnation, a quality Hall recognizes and admires. AT L A N TAV U E .CO M 41
FASHION AS PERSONAL HISTORY Hall approaches fashion with the same intuition she brings to conversation. She resists rigid philosophies and seasonal mandates. “I wear what I like,” she says simply. “My fashion—from Today Show to here—has changed in many ways. And now that I’m the sole host of my show, when I walk out those doors, it becomes a different kind of weapon.” A weapon of empowerment, of individuality, of economics. That freedom was shaped early. Growing up in the South, Hall watched family members wear uniforms to work. Sundays told a different story. Church brought transformation: hats, polished shoes, care. Her grandfather, a butcher without a formal education, would step out in his Stetson and Stacy Adams, dressed not for spectacle but for dignity. “Those were signatures of empowerment. They were markers of identity. Milestones of pride.” Today, hats remain her most personal style signature, though viewers rarely see them on her show. “My grandmother was known for wearing hats,” says Hall. “Even after she died, people would talk about how amazing she looked in them. I have quite an extensive collection.” They carry history. “Hats have a very sentimental place in my wardrobe because they’re steeped in Southern culture. They’re connected to my family.” One of the most meaningful additions came when Cam Newton gifted her one of his signature hats on her show.
A LIFE OF RITUAL AND ORDER Off camera, Hall’s life is guided by structure, an essential part of her wellness routine. She describes herself as a planner, a Virgo, the daughter of a military man. Discipline, to her, is not restrictive. It is freeing. “I’m incredibly disciplined. On Tuesdays, my stylist and I go through racks and racks of 4 2 AT L A N TAV U E . CO M

clothing, planning every outfit for the week, down to the Spanx. I don’t like to leave things to chance. Some people might think that sounds boring, but it allows me to be spontaneous where it counts.” That same philosophy applies to her health. For Hall, fitness is about balance. Intermittent fasting. Pilates or yoga. At-home workouts. “You won’t find me doing CrossFit three days in a row,” she laughs. “I get bored.”
“You have to fight for it.”
Wellness, she insists, extends far beyond the physical. “It’s about community—the friendships and people you surround yourself with.” Every Wednesday after the show, Hall gathers a group of friends to try a new restaurant. On other days, she cooks—a practice that brings both control and calm. “I didn’t know how to cook,” she admits. “But when my father passed away in 2008, I set out to learn. Now, I love it.” Her other essentials? A daily moisturizing mask, plenty of water and coffee. Coffee is non-negotiable. Each morning begins with a cappuccino from her JURA machine. “Some people drive around in a Maybach,” she says. “I have a JURA, the Rolls-Royce of coffee makers.” And for an added touch of fancy, she adds sugar cubes to her cappuccino.
TRAVEL AND THE LONG VIEW Even with a disciplined schedule, Hall embraces life’s luxuries. Travel, especially with her son, Moses, is among her greatest pleasures. She gravitates to destinations like Greece, Spain, Italy, and historic properties chosen not for trend, but for texture. “Travel is a privilege. As an older mother, these experiences carry weight.” They are gifts, and opportunities to show her son the world with intention.
CHOOSING HAPPY Tamron’s word for 2026 has been ‘happy.’ “It sounds simple. But sometimes it feels out of reach. You have to fight for it.” Perhaps that is the truest hallmark of her power. Not the awards. Not the platform. But the ability to build a life defined by intention, warmth, and grace. Power, practiced this way, endures. AT L A N TAV U E .CO M 4 3

Quiet
LUXURY
The Art of Timeless Tailoring BY JAMES MASSEY
Luxury needs no introduction. There’s confidence in items that are superbly made. It’s felt in the weight of a door, the grain of fine wood, the details of furniture, and the proportions of a well-designed room. It’s experienced, not announced. Menswear should feel the same. As fall approaches, it’s time to rethink what luxury means for a man’s wardrobe. Beyond labels and trends lies something lasting: exceptional fabric, thoughtful construction, proper fit, and intentional selection. That’s quiet luxury. It’s not about conservative dressing or a wardrobe of beige, navy, and gray. Quiet luxury is discernment, knowing the difference between expensive and well-made. In menswear, that’s most evident in tailoring.
The Architecture of Menswear A well-tailored jacket resembles architecture; both rely on proportion. Balance is key: shoulders fit the frame, lapels suit the chest, the waist defines without constricting, and trousers follow a natural line. When these elements harmonize, the look is effortless, one of luxury's traits. Good tailoring frames, not dominates, highlighting personality 4 8 AT L A N TAV U E . CO M
and conversation. Fit outweighs label; an illfitting luxury garment is less impressive than a perfectly fitting unknown label. Understanding that distinction is true style. A wardrobe merits the same care as a home. Like a home, it develops over time; discovered antiques, local art, and heirlooms all contribute to a story.
Build a wardrobe gradually Start with a navy suit, a tailored jacket, trousers, shirting, knitwear, an overcoat, and quality shoes. Add personality with accents like pinstripes, windowpanes, or rich colors. Consistency isn’t needed; harmony is. Fall emphasizes that fabric texture matters. Cashmere, wool, velvet, suede, and flannel add depth without excess. Colors like burgundy, deep navy, and shades of brown convey quiet luxury when used with restraint.
Prioritize craftsmanship over logos Evaluate fabric feel, fit, movement, durability, and details. Stitching, seams, buttons, lining, and tailoring, these reveal luxury. Invest in longevity; choose quality pieces that gain character through wear. This is wardrobebuilding that anticipates the future, not just satisfies today. Wear precious items quietly, understand fit, and develop a personal style. Quiet luxury embodies self-assurance without fame. Subtlety is key; craftsmanship, fit, and style matter more than notoriety. Luxury becomes legacy when cherished items tell stories: a suit at a celebration, a watch for decades, shoes cared for over time. These objects teach values: presentation, care, standards, and legacy. Ultimately, care and intention define our most meaningful possessions.
Luxury That Becomes Legacy This fall, a refined wardrobe isn’t about newness but about thoughtful choices: selecting fabrics, tailoring, caring, repairing, and imagining years ahead. True luxury isn’t about recognition; it lies in craftsmanship, quality, restraint, and timelessness, creating wardrobes meant to endure. AT L A N TAV U E .CO M 4 9

Elise, Woodruff Arts Center’s newest addition, brings the culinary arts into an already diverse and creative environment that includes Alliance Theatre, Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, and the High Museum of Art. This is Chef Craig Richards’ second restaurant and the first restaurant partnership for the Woodruff Arts Center. Featuring a French-meets-Italian, seafood-forward menu, the name Elise comes from Beethoven’s “Für Elise.” 5 8 AT L A N TAV U E . CO M
Chef Richards, an Italian trained chef who has spent years refining his technique, is excited to showcase his skills at Elise. He first dined at the space in 2005 and was inspired by the architecture and elegant atmosphere. Being able to contribute his culinary art and creative design is a full circle moment for him. Elise opened in the former Table 1280 space this August. Chef Richards and Smith Hanes Studio reimagined Renzo Piano’s modernist foundation and created a gorgeous and elegant environment. The lighter wood floors and warm white palette blend perfectly with the natural green tones in the dining room and the courtyard views. Of course, incredible art was included in the transformation. The restaurant houses a large abstract piece by Tommy Taylor, a sculptural piece by Sonya Yong James, and a wonderfully unique piece from Chrissy Reed’s Blobbies series. The gorgeous design, calming atmosphere, and luxurious menu create an immersive experience that enhances the art surrounding the restaurant Each aspect of the menu has been perfected and crafted to provide guests with a memorable dining experience. The menu interprets French dishes through an Italian lens and focuses on raw and cooked seafood, housemade pastas, seasonal vegetables, and sustainable sourcing. Chef Richards’ Nebraska roots are showcased with the inclusion of prime-grade Midwestern steaks. From Chef Richards’ signature cacio e pepe risotto to the smoked lamb shank and premium steaks, guests are sure to fall in love with the cuisine here. The prawns with lemon-tumeric sauce and crispy polenta, peach and beet salad, and tagliatelle with rabbit ragu are additional standouts. Guests also have the option of a five-course tasting menu and optional wine pairings. Wine enthusiasts will be happy to find that there is a 100-selection wine list, and Beverage Manager Eric Potrikus offers an exceptional cocktail program. Elise serves a list of delectable desserts including, a warm lemon tart, housemade gelati and sorbetti, and a divine chocolate mousse. And the service is impeccable. AT L A N TAV U E .CO M 5 9

The Caribbean Island Worth Discovering BY ELLIOT KRIPPELZ
Nestled in the Caribbean Sea sits a luxurious travel destination that tends to go unnoticed. Curaçao, a Dutch Caribbean island part of the ABC islands of Aruba and Bonaire, is a place with vibrant marine life, quaint beaches, and exotic culture. Here, a mix of adventure, breathtaking scenery, and relaxation comes together to create an unforgettable vacation spot. Curaçao is known for its European and Caribbean architecture that comes
7 0 AT L A N TAV U E . CO M
together to create its own coastal niche. Willemstad, the country’s capital, is defined by beautiful, pastel buildings, taking Dutch colonial inspiration into the streets. The Bloemhof Cultural Center (Landhuis Bloemhof) is nearly three centuries old and features an ongoing art exhibit from local and international artists. This interactive museum immerses individuals in the history and heritage of the island and ensures a deeper connection to Curaçao’s past.
A direct flight to Curaçao from Atlanta is around four hours. Travelers must have a valid passport and complete an online Digital Immigration Card within seven days of arrival. Individuals traveling from yellow fever-risk countries, such as South America or Africa, may need to bring a yellow fever certificate showing that vaccinations have been administered. Several different airlines that offer direct flights to the island. Delta and American Airlines are two of the most popular airlines that have direct flights from Atlanta.
The island is great for sightseeing and has many historic landmarks, including the Queen Emma Bridge. The Queen Emma is a floating pontoon bridge that stretches across St. Anna Bay and connects the Punda and Otrobanda quarters to Willemstad. These cultural landmarks give travelers insight into the island’s history and the dedication it took to have Curaçao as it is today. Curaçao has multiple luxury dining and bar options, as well as a list of unique, local spots worth trying. Netto Bar, Curaçao’s oldest bar (established in 1954), is exclusively home to Ròm Bèrdè, the famous green rum. The bar is located in one of the historical districts of Willemstad. According to locals, Ròm Bèrdè is best served as an ice-cold shot or with coconut water. Lionfish Caribbean is a restaurant where the initiative to eliminate the invasive Lionfish species on the island is transformed into a culinary and wearable adventure. Local divers catch, clean, and serve fresh Lionfish right in Otrobanda. This ocean organization prevents the Lionfish invasion by informing travelers of the dangers they pose to the ocean’s ecosystem. AT L A N TAV U E .CO M 7 1
The organization uses Lionfish fins to make wearable jewelry, such as earrings. The earrings come in three different styles, depending on the fin type. The tail fin, pelvic fin, and pectoral fin are all options that have different patterns and colors. Kura Hulanda Village is a downtown area in Willemstad that features beautiful architecture and quaint independent restaurants to explore. All restaurants in Kura Hulanda Village feature fresco seating, bars, and easily walkable streets to explore. Calleo, a restaurant in the village, offers a wide range of seafood and vegetarian options. According to the restaurant’s website, “Dive into bright, citrusy crudos, then roll into smoky woodfired seafood, steak, or charred vegetables, all made to share, celebrate, and remember. Whether it’s your anniversary, a night with friends, or just your first bite of Curaçao, it hits different here.” For a more luxurious dining experience, Baoase Culinary Beach Restaurant at the Baoase Luxury Resort offers exceptional service with extraordinary views. “Our culinary team combines French techniques with tropical influences and Asian flavors, creating dishes that are both exquisite and unforgettable,” reads their website. Whether you’re interested in à la carte service or a special tasting menu, Baoase has it all. One of Baoase’s featured items is a tableside steak or tuna tartare, where the chef personally crafts the dish right at your table. On the shoreline of Willmsted sits Renaissance Wind Creek Curaçao Resort. This 237-room property was recently renovated and offers several amenities for guests to enjoy. With its updated casino, Renaissance Wind Creek has a membership program for gambling, so guests

can rack up reward points while playing games they love. The hotel also has an onsite shopping district with several designer brands. Renaissance Wind Creek’s main draw is the location. The resort is within walking distance of The Queen Emma Bridge and in a very historic part of the island. This resort is perfect for travelers looking to explore the island mainly on foot. Coral Estate Rentals are private vacation homes that ensure your vacation is perfect. According to their website, “You’ll enjoy exclusive villas with private pools or elegant oceanview apartments, complete with premium amenities. Ideal for romantic getaways, family vacations, or a relaxing trip with friends. We offer a fully arranged holiday, including car rental – everything taken care of for a worry-free stay.” These luxury rentals are also in close proximity to beaches, such as Daaibooi and Porto Mari. Here, guests can enjoy the utmost privacy with their own vacation home, and pool, while also being taken care of by Coral Estate’s attentive staff. Curaçao is an island that is worth discovering. It offers many vacation types for all travelers. The Caribbean island will be there, always waiting for the next adventure. AT L A N TAV U E .CO M 7 3
71 Wentworth
This up-and-coming Charleston residence is perfect for those who love elegance and authenticity BY LAUREN GRAHAM
74 AT L A N TAV U E . CO M
What is it about Charleston that makes it such an exciting destination for travel, residency, and so much more? Maybe, it's the way the fresh, coastal breeze drifts through the winding cobblestone streets. Or maybe, it’s the vibrant nightlife, myriad cuisines offered, and local parks. All of the abovementioned is what makes Charleston truly special. But what really draws people from all over to this magnetic city is its rich history. Charleston has no shortage of authentic, historical charm. 71 Wentworth debuted in November 2024 and has sold 11 of its 12 residences, offering owners the flexibility to use their homes as private retreats or luxury rental properties managed by Inspirato. Designed especially for lovers of modern luxury and historical character alike, this residence is an innovative blend of past and present. 71 Wentworth is complete with century-old architectural details and elegant, stylish amenities. Located in the heart of the district, 71 Wentworth stands above King and Wentworth, a prime spot in one of Charleston’s lively, popular neighborhoods. Courtney Bishop, the critically acclaimed interior designer behind 71 Wentworth, notes that Charleston is currently experiencing a “cultural renaissance." With 71 Wentworth serving as a restoration of the timeless Tudor-Gothic revival building from 1872, its role in fueling that very renaissance is undeniable. Charleston native John Henry Devereux, the illustrious architect responsible for iconic buildings throughout the historic town, first designed the building as a Masonic lodge. From housing the Ancient Freemasons of South Carolina’s meetings to retail and office space, the building has undergone many changes over the past century. But its structural integrity and strength, paired with its unique design details, made it an undercover gem noted by trained eyes, like the expert team behind its cultivation. 71 Wentworth is a legacy project for East West Partners Charleston, a premier, nationally awarded residential and commercial real estate development group. The team, composed of Trident Construction, architect Kevan Hoertdoerfer, and designer Courtney Bishop,
AT L A N TAV U E .CO M 7 5
started this undertaking back in 2019 and officially began the restoration in 2021. The goal was to transform Devereux's architectural feat into a reimagined version of itself, with full respect for the rich material and authenticity of its original intent. Built to last and seamlessly intertwining both the new and the old, the building is projected to “usher the style into the new era and eras to come,” states Hoertdoerfer. 71 Wentworth is timeless—a step above trendy. Its architectural framework makes a lasting impression on those with an affinity for true style. One of the most distinctive characteristics are its sweeping arched windows, which filter in an abundance of natural Charleston light. Its ceilings are a prominent feature as well, ranging from 18 to 25 feet in total, giving the residence that grand feeling that revival-esque buildings are known for. With detailed columns on the facade, exposed brick, rich, hardwood beams, and structures restored from the original design, both the exterior and interior exude sophistication and comfort. Residence 302 is available for purchase. 302 is a twobedroom, 1.5-bathroom unit with an intricately curated design layout. The living room is bright and spacious; a great setting to lounge around in and enjoy company. The kitchen features state-of-the-art appliances, a custom-made island crafted by Charleston artisans, and contemporary accents, such as sleek, granite backsplashes and dark, hardwood cabinetry. The bathrooms include tailor-made vanities, fixtures, and natural light. Select units have dens that function as the “owner’s retreat,” and include a wet bar, ideal for relaxing after a long day exploring all that the city has to offer. Units with dens contain outdoor loggias, open-air, covered porches set with beautiful red brick and high ceilings to enjoy the ambient sounds of the city.

Jeans have remained one of the most influential pieces in fashion history, continually evolving alongside changing trends, silhouettes, and personal style. While classic denim has remained a staple in wardrobes for decades, designers and brands continue to find new ways to reinvent the familiar fabric. Companies like MOTHER, AGOLDE, and Citizens of Humanity are putting their own spin on denim’s evolution with their latest deliveries, blending timeless silhouettes with modern details, unexpected designs, and styles that push the boundaries of everyday dressing.
8 2 AT L A N TAV U E . CO M
MOTHER’s latest deliveries showcase the versatility of denim and the company’s ability to adapt to changing styles. Across three deliveries, MOTHER combines signature denim with playful silhouettes and refined details. The T-Bone Tomcat Roller Skimp puts a spin on the classic wide-leg silhouette with its high-rise design and distinctive button detailing. The Hanky Dress steps away from traditional jeans, bringing in an eye-catching animal print, while the Bookie Twist offers a mid-rise bootcut silhouette with a twisted outer seam, relaxed leg, and dark-blue wash.
Mother Later deliveries continue to bring variety with the Bruiser Jacket and Fortune Cookie Midi, followed by pieces like the Kick It, Oversized Letterman, and Tab Rerun. The collection as a whole showcases MOTHER’s ability to move beyond traditional denim and evolve without straying too far from its iconic casual denim aesthetic.
Agolde While MOTHER brings a playful approach to denim, AGOLDE’s latest collection is all about versatility, incorporating denim alongside jumpsuits, leather pieces, outerwear, and tailored separates.
AGOLDE’s collection incorporates layers, leather, and a variety of fabrics, bringing together denim, leather, and corduroy pieces with outerwear and workwear-inspired styles. A range of colors, silhouettes and textures gives the collection flexibility. From relaxed denim and utility pants to bomber jackets and leather outerwear, the collection balances casual wear with effortless everyday style, offering pieces that can be mixed and matched across different looks throughout the week.
Continuing the iconic use of denim in more modern outfits is Citizens of Humanity. They bring together clean silhouettes, softer textures, and tailored pieces designed to work seamlessly together. The collection features denim alongside long-sleeved shirts, sweaters, trousers, and layered outerwear, creating looks that feel polished without being overly complicated. Looks such as the 90’s French paired with the Barracuta Bubble Jacket and Petit Ami Shirt, or the Taper Jean styled with the Camille Moto Jacket and Clara Draped Top, show how the brand builds complete outfits to pair with their denim pieces. By pairing denim with tailored pieces, Citizens of Humanity creates a collection that feels clean and iconic.
Across MOTHER, AGOLDE, and Citizens of Humanity, denim continues to evolve with everyday style and become a timeless key to fashion. Each brand brings its own perspective, showing how versatile, stylish, and creative denim fashion can be. 8 4 AT L A N TAV U E . CO M

INTO T H E BANYAN TREE MAYAKOBA’S
NEW ERA OF INTENTIONAL LUXURY BY TAHTIYANA MILLER
Nestled in the mangroves of Mexico’s Riviera Maya, Banyan Tree Mayakoba has always been a sanctuary for travelers who crave stillness and
beauty. Today, after a nearly $100 million transformation, the resort enters a new chapter
that feels both elevated and deeply personal. It is a place designed for people who want more than a vacation, and want a reset. 8 6 AT L A N TAV U E . CO M
A RESORT REIMAGINED FOR THE MODERN TRAVELER TRAVELE R Banyan Tree Mayakoba’s transformation is the result of a five-year evolution that redefines private villa living. The resort has reimagined its accommodations to meet the needs of travelers who value privacy, personalization, and a deeper connection to nature. The new villa categories, Bliss Pool Villas, Serenity Pool Villas, Wellbeing Sanctuary Pool Villas, Harmony Lagoon and Beachfront Villas, reflect a design philosophy rooted in natural materials and quiet beauty. The interiors blend Asian heritage with Mexico’s cultural identity. Parota and Tzalam wood, Crema Maya stone, handcrafted ceramics, and natural fibers create spaces that feel warm and grounded. Large windows and open layouts dissolve the boundary between the indoors and outdoors, allowing the mangroves and lagoons to become part of daily life. Even the pools have been upgraded with PebbleTec finishes that make the water shimmer in the sunlight. The Serenity Pool Villa is your own personal retreat. Morning feel like a reset of your intentions each day. The villa’s privacy makes it easy to slow down, and the recent renovations elevate every detail of your experience.
A L ANDSCAPE THAT MOVES WITH YOU One of the most magical aspects of Banyan Tree Mayakoba is the way guests move through the property. The resort is connected by serene waterways, and boat rides are a natural part of getting around. The beauty and tranquility never gets old. Every ride offers a new view of the lagoons, wildlife, and the quiet rhythm of the mangroves. The Lagoon and Sunset Rooftop Pool Villas, introduced in 2022, sit directly over the water. These villas feature rooftop heated infinity pools, open-air relaxation spaces, outdoor bathtubs, and rain showers. And the views at sunset are unforgettable.
AT L A N TAV U E .CO M 8 7
A CULINARY STORY THAT KEEPS EVOLVING Food is central to the Banyan Tree experience, and the resort’s culinary evolution is one of its most exciting transformations. Guests can explore nine dining venues, each with its own personality. The newly debuted Sur Beach Club is the first adults only beach club in Riviera Maya. Inspired by Spanish chiringuitos, it offers chic cabanas, the ocean breeze, and a refined menu. Suna, debuting in 2026, will offer a speakeasy experience centered on Nikkei cuisine. Peruvian flavors meet Japanese techniques in dishes that celebrate the creativity of both cultures. It is a bold addition that reflects the resort’s commitment to innovation. Cooking classes are offered. Here, you can practice making tortillas and mixed margaritas with the culinary team. It’s a fun, hands-on experience. The standout is their private dinner set right over the water. It is intimate, peaceful, and the perfect way to end the trip.
WELLNESS ROOTED IN RITUAL The Banyan Tree Spa is one of the resort’s most beloved offerings. Treatments are designed to be both luxurious and grounding. Each facial includes a shoulder and arm massage, creating a full body sense of calm. It will leave your skin glowing and have you feeling completely at peace. The Wellbeing Sanctuary Pool Villas take this philosophy even further. These accommodations integrate wellness rituals directly into the stay, offering curated elements that support physical and mental balance. 8 8 AT L A N TAV U E . CO M
SUSTAINABILITY THAT FEELS PERSONAL Banyan Tree Mayakoba’s “Stay for Good” program is a cornerstone of the resort’s identity. Sustainability is not treated as an add on. It is woven into the guest experience. One of the most memorable activities offered is a paper making workshop that involves local children and teaches guests about the resort’s biodiversity efforts. It is a meaningful experience and a reminder that luxury and responsibility can coexist.
A DESTINATION DESIGNED FOR EVERY TRAVELER The resort’s multi-bedroom Family Residences were redesigned in 2025 to support multi-generational travel. These spaces feel residential and have kitchenettes, living areas, outdoor pools, and terraces that make families feel at home. The Beachfront Suites, introduced in 2021, offer direct access to the shore and private pools. Guests can spend their days snorkeling the second largest barrier reef, swimming in cenotes, chartering private yachts, or riding hydrobikes through the waterways. Lounge at the infinity pool, explore Mayakoba on beach cruisers, and discover local favorites like El Pueblito.
LOOKING AHEAD In 2026, the resort will debut La Cocina Corazon in El Pueblito, unveil a new concept for Sur Beach Club, and introduce Saffron 2.0, a refreshed vision for the beloved Thai restaurant that connects the property to its founding roots. Banyan Tree Mayakoba is more than a luxury resort, it is a place where nature, design, and intention come together to create something unforgettable and transformative. It has become a sanctuary that guests return to again and again. AT L A N TAV U E .CO M 8 9
ONE SYSTEM, FOUR SEASONS THE LUXURY HOMEOWNERS’ GUIDE
TO HEAT PUMPS WITH TRANE BY TAHTIYANA MILLER
9 0 AT L A N TAV U E . CO M
Atlanta homeowners expect comfort that feels seamless throughout the year, and today’s modern heat pump delivers exactly that. It is a single system designed to cool with precision during hot, humid summers and warm efficiently during the mild winters. For luxury homes where comfort, design, and performance all matter, heat pumps are becoming an essential part of a well‑run household. They offer a smooth, season‑to‑season experience that supports both everyday living and long‑term home value.
WHY HEAT PUMPS FIT GEORGIA SO WELL
A HIGH‑PERFORMANCE OPTION FOR LUXURY HOMES
COMFORT THAT EXTENDS BEYOND THE EQUIPMENT
Georgia’s climate makes heat pumps especially effective because winter temperatures usually stay in the 30-40 degree range and rarely remain below freezing for long periods. This allows a standard heat pump to handle most heating and cooling needs throughout the year without relying heavily on backup heat sources. Even when the air outside feels cold, there is still heat energy present. A heat pump uses a mechanical refrigeration cycle to capture that energy, concentrate it, and move it indoors. During summer, the process reverses and the system moves heat out of the home to keep interiors cool. A reversing valve allows the equipment to switch between heating and cooling modes, giving homeowners a single system that adapts smoothly to every season while maintaining comfort with ease.
The Trane 20 TruComfort Variable Speed Heat Pump with WeatherGuard is designed for homeowners who want precise comfort and dependable performance. Its variable-speed operation keeps temperatures steady and quiet, creating a smooth indoor environment that feels luxurious without drawing attention to the equipment itself. It carries the ENERGY STAR Cold Climate Designation and is tested to provide a 70% heating capacity ratio at 5 degrees and full heating capacity down to 32 degrees, which makes it a strong fit for Georgia’s winter conditions. The system also connects to the Trane Link Communicating System Controller, allowing it to automatically charge, configure, and calibrate itself for year-round performance. For homeowners who want comfort that feels effortless and reliable, this system delivers a thoughtful blend of efficiency, technology, and long-term value.
Today’s luxury comfort experience is shaped not only by the HVAC system but also by the technology that supports it. The Trane Link UX360 Thermostat brings intelligent control to the home in a way that feels simple and intuitive. Homeowners can adjust temperatures remotely through the Trane Home app, which makes comfort accessible from anywhere and supports a lifestyle that moves between home, work, and travel. The thermostat also provides enhanced dehumidification, an important feature in Atlanta’s climate where humidity plays a major role in how comfortable a home feels. Voice control through Alexa or Google Home adds convenience, and remote diagnostics allow service providers to view real-time system data and address issues before they interrupt comfort. Together, these features create an experience that fits easily into modern living and elevates the overall feel of the home.
EFFICIENCY AND ENVIRONMENTAL RESPONSIBILITY Heat pumps offer a more efficient approach to comfort because they transfer heat rather than generate it through fuel combustion. This difference allows them to use less energy while still delivering reliable performance. For homeowners who value sustainability, this makes a heat pump an appealing choice that supports both comfort and environmental awareness. Modern systems are also far more advanced than many people realize. Variable-speed technology allows the equipment to adjust its output in real time, matching the exact needs of the home. Instead of turning on and off throughout the day, the system maintains a steady temperature that feels comfortable and consistent while using energy wisely. This creates a quiet, balanced environment that feels refined and effortless.

THE VALUE OF SMART SCHEDULING One of the easiest ways to improve efficiency is through thoughtful thermostat scheduling. Programmable controls allow homeowners to adjust temperatures automatically based on daily routines, which reduces energy use without affecting comfort. ENERGY STAR reports that homeowners who install and actively use a smart thermostat can save an average of 8% on heating and cooling costs. Additional savings are possible when temperature setbacks are used strategically, especially during times when the home is unoccupied. For luxury homeowners, this means comfort that feels intelligent, personalized, and aligned with the rhythm of everyday life.
A CONNECTED AND PERSONALIZED FUTURE The future of home comfort is already here. A high-performance heat pump paired with advanced controls creates a smooth, efficient, and personalized experience across all four seasons. It supports sustainability, enhances daily living, and offers a smart long-term investment for homeowners who want comfort that feels refined and reliable. This combination brings together technology, design, and performance in a way that elevates the entire home environment. To find out whether a high-efficiency heat pump is the right fit for your home and lifestyle, consult a local HVAC professional or a Trane Comfort Specialist. They can evaluate your home’s needs and help you choose a system that delivers comfort with confidence.

D I S C OV E R C OA S TA L LU X U RY AND EUROPEAN CHARM IN THE HAMPTONS OF THE SOUTH BY VANESSA PASCALE

Along 30A on the Emerald Coast is a dreamy place where multimillion-dollar real estate overlooks sugar-white sand beaches and crystal blue waters. Among these chic beach towns, fondly referred to as “the Hamptons of the South,” is Rosemary Beach, a walkable community with European-inspired architecture, flickering gas street lamps, charming boutiques, cobblestone streets, and The Pearl Hotel. The Pearl is an iconic, 55-room boutique hotel that is just steps away from restaurants and shops, and a quick bicycle ride to Alys Beach. This multi-award-winning hotel, which opened in 2013 and received a refresh in 2022, epitomizes coastal-chic. Their clock tower, posh black-and-white-striped awnings, gorgeous local art, and bright yellow umbrellas are just a few of their standout design elements. The first-class hospitality begins as soon as you pull into the valet. Bottled water and their house sparkling wine were offered to us as our car and luggage were attended to. In our room, a welcome snack of pimento cheese (chef ’s homemade recipe) and crackers, and a gifted bottle of wine satiated our need for a midday treat. The Pearl loves celebrating guests’ special occasions with thoughtful, complimentary gifts, like a bottle of sparkling wine, a mini cake for kids’ birthdays, and onesies and non-alcoholic rosé for babymooners.

The Pearl boasts 45 traditional guestrooms, 9 suites, and a Pearl Suite (Presidential Suite); most rooms have a private balcony with views of the Gulf of Mexico or the town below. The hotel is among the first hotels in the country to offer in-room Samsung Smart TV services, so that guests can stream their favorite shows wirelessly from complimentary highspeed wireless internet. The in-room iPads are equipped with the Intelity ICE used for room service, to control the AC and lights, set a wake-up call, book dining reservations, and request your car from valet. To quench your thirst, the mini fridge is stocked with complimentary juices and sodas, and of course, there is coffee and tea. As someone who lives for a sweet treat, I looked forward to the nightly turndown service, which came with delicious housemade chocolate truffles crafted by The Pearl’s pastry team. Mere steps from The Pearl is The Gulf of Mexico and a private, white-sand beach, where complimentary beach chairs and oversized umbrellas invite you to spend the day basking in the sun, or the shade, with a good book, some tasty sandwiches and fresh fruit. And when you’re ready for some activity, grab a complimentary paddleboard and enjoy the water. The adults-only pool is a must. From the comfort of our poolside lounge chairs, we ordered a nice little spread from Havana Beach Bar & Grill, which included, refreshing cocktails, delicious Rock Lobster Dip, and The Smash and Grab, a black angus beef smash burger on a brioche bun with American cheese and boomerang sauce.
Spa Pearl, their intimate, poolside spa, offers signature treatments and packages, including facials, body treatments, massages, and waxing services. With this being a relaxing getaway, we had to indulge in a 50-minute Swedish massage, which was nothing short of heavenly. For dinner, Havana Beach Bar & Grill, their AAA Four-Diamond-rated restaurant, served up an amazing meal with excellent service provided by our kind and knowledgeable server. With us being close to the sea, seafood was on our minds; we ordered the whole fish and Catch of the Day, along with a Mixed Berry Salad. Everything was wonderfully executed, from the plating and complementary flavors to the freshness of the dishes. The Gulf Coast- and Caribbean-inspired menu also offers steaks, Creole Seafood Pasta, Jerk-spiced Pork Ribs, among other appetizing dishes to be enjoyed in the main dining room, their hand-carved mahogany bar, or alfresco on the veranda overlooking the town. This charming area is easily explored by foot and bicycle (complimentary bikes are offered by The Pearl). The 18.6-mile 30A bike trail takes you through South Walton’s coastal dune lakes and villages. We bicycled to Alys Beach and back, a total of 3 miles. During our scenic ride, we popped in and out of the cute boutiques along the way and indulged in a couple of slices from Pizza by the Sea. When it was time to leave, The Pearl sent us home with a little departure gift, orange rosemary seasoning salt (which purposely looks like sand from the beach) to remind us of our lovely stay. Our beachside getaway was a success thanks to The Pearl. We can’t wait to come back. For more information, visit www.thepearlrb.com.
