The support of creative talents is an important concern to HUMANIC. With THE MOVEMENT OF ME we built a platform to showcase musicians, writers, designers and other artists. They are EXTRAORDINARY. ALWAYS. One of these special people with an eye for esthetics and the skills to transfer it into an artwork is the 24-year-old Sonia from Bucharest. So we are very happy to listen to her story: Hello, I’m Sonia. What am I professionally? Some call me a photographer, others call me a content creator, but I think of myself as a “creative person”. My journey started when I was only 16 years old and got my own first camera from my parents. I’m not sure what drove me into photography. I think it was the freedom it provided and the fact that you can see one object in a million different ways, which makes it unique. After all, a photo is shaped by the person behind the lens. Along the way I met Radu Osaciuc, a constructive mind like me, and together we founded our very own agency, CIOCANUL. It is focused on photography, design, branding, social media and content creation. The name “CIOCANUL” means “The Hammer”, a strong symbol for hard-working individuals (and it’s also my family name). To all the young talents who have no idea of how and where to start, I just want to say: Just do it! Because there is no better time and place than HERE and NOW.

When talking about cool chic, there is one particular shoe trend of the spring/summer season that comes to mind: Following the example of the Gucci lace-up boots, dainty little tie-up shoes make their big appearance in works by numerous designers! From flat to high, they come in different variations. Rebecca Minkoff laces up to the knee, Marisa Webb tops her sandals with fringes and even ballerina flats are now being laced. Every single one of these pairs is a safe means of spreading some French Haute Couture charm. By optically lengthening the leg, they are fashionable and flirty without seeming obtrusive at all.

We‘ve never seen pastels this way! Sugary colors are now translated into a new romanticism. With very feminine silhouettes and a luxury touch, they are indispensable in spring 2016. As seen on the runways, the material choices are tulle, chiffon, and all kinds of see-through fabrics, immediately reminding us of delicious cotton candy. The accessories of the MINT N’ CREAM Trend, especially shoes and purses, come in different hues from nude to mint, plain or with paisley and flowers, adorned with crystals, bows and subtle cuts. Technology is a dominating element of our time, facing us wherever we look. A life without mobile phones? Unimaginable! The fast pace, the anonymization and the chaos that come along with these innovations make us more and more long to return to the carefree days of our childhood. METALLIC FUNK is a connection of these two opposites. The trend shouts out to different items of the virtual world. On the one side, we find metallic tones derived from futuristic cyberspace, on the other side there are the emojis and comic figures known from our WhatsApp chats. The playful symbols complete the trend as pins or patches on jackets and denims. In combination with ‘spacy’ sneakers, nothing stands in the way of having fun ;-P

Color, color and even more color! This spring there are no limits to a wild mix of patterns like stripes, dots and ethno prints! Therefore, all colors of the rainbow are called into action. Designer creations à la Brigitte Bardot bring us back to the French-Italian Riviera of the ’60s. Large stripes emerge on maxi skirts and shoes, fantasy motifs and embroidery give retro flair to dresses and denim fabrics. The nostalgic touch is also noticed at Dolce & Gabbana, where they pay homage to burgeoning spring with a bright flowerbed on their pumps.

For many women it’s the most important day of their lives. Some dream about it from childhood days: the wedding! And what could be more crucial than the dress? Current designer creations adapt to the the setting of the mod wedding. Big, opulent princess-like festivities are superseded by modest, intimate celebrations. Yet the dresses are as romantic as always. The stuff that dreams are made of is dainty, fairylike lace or silk with pretty flower embellishment. Instead of tiaras, garlands of blossoms adorn the casually styled hair. Also, the entire scene reflects the desire for naturalness, like a deserted beach at sunset or a quaint forest glade - can you imagine anything more idyllic? What shouldn’t be absent are the perfect shoes – so there‘s nothing to spoil the big day.

Goldmarie is a label founded by Martina Piffl from Graz, Austria. With her handcrafted paper designs she has already provided a very individual touch to many weddings. Besides invitations and savethe-date cards, she produces cake toppers, place cards and everything else paper-related that the heart desires. As an expert in the matter of marriage (Martina said ‘Yes’ in 2010), she reveals her personal Survival Kit, so that nothing goes wrong on the big day.

Suede is a material that is going to accompany us again through the upcoming season. After the ‚70s‘ revival in the Fall/Winter collections with brown suede everywhere, current designer creations stick to the fabric but modify the color. Cloud blue and beige dominate the catwalks, making usual business look brisk. Suits and shirts in denim blue, preferably of noble chambray are classically tailored and finely striped or plaid. DRIVING SHOES What are Driving Shoes actually? The slip-ons in soft (suede) leather were originally designed for drivers. Small rubber studs on the soles, and in some styles also on the heels, prevent the feet from slipping off the pedals.
‘The Original Car Shoe’ was developed and patented in the 1960s by the brand of the same name. The idea behind it: to exchange daytime shoes, which are often cumbersome and uncomfortable, for a more comfortable pair - just for driving a car. The slip-ons are put on quickly and provide feet with the necessary sensitivity and grip on the pedals. In the early years, driving shoes were merely luxury goods. Because who could afford a pair of shoes reserved just for the car? After TOD’S and other brands took over the idea, they finally became a fashion accessory for everyone. Today they come in all conceivable variations and colors, with decorative buckles or tassels, in suede and smooth leather. We think these shoes are way too beautiful to be worn just in the car!
