The Vortex Magazine of Literature and Fine Art is a student-led organization. Every member of our staff is an undergraduate student at the University of Central Arkansas; all of our authors and artists are undergrad. students at UCA as well. The Fall 2021 Online Edition of the Vortex contains a variety of short stories, poetry, scripts, and artwork. Christianity, cowboys, feminism, grief, loneliness, and love are a few of the reoccurring themes that appear in the magazine this semester.
One aspect of the magazine that is different from past issues is the "Editor's Choice" award, which staff awarded to the strongest piece in their respective section.
