Stephanie started solo training with Ms Khor Ai Ming in 2004
Under Ms Khor’s tutelage, Stephanie has attained her ATCL (Singing) and has been given opportunities to perform with Vocal Associates – as ‘The Rivermaid’ in Faybulous! at the 2012 Edinburgh Fringe Festival; ‘Dew Fairy’ in Hansel and Gretel in 2016; ‘Sally’ in Thomas and Sally in 2022; and as the Second Lady in The Magic Flute in 2023 As a member of the Vocal Associates Chorus, Stephanie has performed on various stages including Esplanade Concert Hall and Carnegie Hall
Stephanie is currently pursuing her Trinity LTCL (Singing) and also teaches at Ms Khor’s Studio
Stephanie’s musical journey began at the age of five, when she joined her first choir Under the tutelage of soprano Khor Ai Ming, Stephanie has acted as ‘Granny’ in Faybulous at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival (2012), ‘Mother’ in Hansel & Gretel (2016), ‘Dorcas’ in Thomas and Sally (2022) and ‘First Lady’ in The Magic Flute (2023)
Stephanie holds a LTCL in Singing with Distinction and has also attained certifications in Music Theory and Piano from ABRSM In addition to her performance work, she has been an integral part of Ms Khor’s Studio since its founding in 2012
Ong Jean Wei began her musical journey at the age of nine under the tutelage of Ms Khor Ai Ming when she joined the Singapore Lyric Opera Children’s Choir
She has since performed in Hansel & Gretel (Gretel), Thomas & Sally (Sally), The Sound of Music (Maria), The Magic Flute (Third Lady), and The Little Prince (Fox)
Jean won First Prize (Singapore) and Second Prize (International) at the 2019 Chicago International Music Competition
She holds the Associate of Trinity College London (ATCL) Diploma in Singing
Sarah has trained with Khor Ai Ming since 2006, performing as a soloist and chorister at venues across Singapore and achieving a Grade 8 in Singing from Trinity College London
A keen composer, Sarah has debuted work with Vocal Associates at Esplanade Recital Studio She has been music director and arranger for a number of inperson and online amateur choral groups in Spain, the UK, and Ireland
Sarah is also a multi-instrumentalist, writer, historian, and actor trained at Dublin’s Gaiety School of Acting Originally from Singapore, she lives in Dublin, where she is active with the Stage and Screen Society
Samuel Yuen is a Singaporean countertenor and third-year undergraduate at the Royal Northern College of Music, where he studies with Sarah Rhodes He began singing at age nine under soprano Khor Ai Ming and was awarded the Associate of Trinity College London (ATCL) Diploma in 2018
In 2025, he attended SienAgosto, studying with countertenors Michael Chance CBE and Daniel Taylor He has performed as the alto solo in Messiah, Lichas in Handel's Hercules, Tamino in Die Zauberflöte, and the Pilot in The Little Prince Samuel has also performed with the RNCM Chamber Choir and Tallis Choral Foundation.
Cheryl Bains is an operatically-trained Soprano and crossover ComposerPerformer Raised in Singapore, Cheryl made her professional debut as a soloist with Orchestra at 14 years old, mentored by Khor Ai Ming
She is a proud graduate of the Manhattan School of Music, New York, and a mentee of Hollywood jazz Composer-Orchestrator, Ladd McIntosh. Cheryl gave the world premiere of her opera, *The Legend of the Goddess*, at the Royal Opera House, Mumbai in 2025
Pan-India, Cheryl has performed with the South Asian Symphony, Kolkata Sinfonietta, Indian Air Force Band, and BMW India She is proud to be affiliated with Steinway India, Furtados Music and The Neemrana Music Foundation
Since joining a Swedish children’s choir at age five, Gustav has performed with vocal ensembles across Sweden, London, New York, and Singapore His diverse repertoire spans traditional Swedish music, sacred choral works, jazz, and musical theatre. Deeply passionate about storytelling, he brings warmth, sincerity, and humour to every character he portrays on stage
With Vocal Associates, his memorable solo roles include Toad in The Wind in the Willows (2019), Thomas in Thomas and Sally (2022), Papageno in The Magic Flute (2023), The Lamplighter in The Little Prince (2024), and The Dragon in The Reluctant Dragon (2024)
Fan Mun Hoi began vocal training with Khor Ai Ming at the age of seven and became a founding member of Vocal Associates in 2014 He was awarded his Associate of Trinity College London (ATCL) Diploma in 2019
Mun Hoi is currently pursuing a degree in Contemporary Writing and Music Production at Berklee College of Music in the United States He is among a select group of international students to receive a full academic scholarship He has continued his vocal training under American operatic tenor Neal Ferreira, American countertenor Thomas Allen, and Spanish jazz vocalist Ester Andújar.
Megan Tan, 20, has cultivated her passion for music under the guidance of Ms Stephanie Leong and Ms Khor Ai Ming She recently attained the Associate of Trinity College London (ATCL) diploma in Singing and was the Top Distinction Holder for the Trinity College London Grade 7 and Grade 8 Singing Examinations
Internationally, she won First and Second Prize at the American Protégé International Vocal Competition, earning the opportunity to perform at Carnegie Hall, New York She was also a First Prize Winner at the 2020 Golden Classical Awards International Competition and a Brilliant Awardee at the 4th Brilliant Talent Discovery Awards International Music Competition
