SOUTH Mesa Canyon PARK There is a 13 mile stretch TRUJILLO from Yamaguchi Park to APACHE the Mesa Canyon access. There PIERCE is one allowable break spot, approximately halfway between DAKOTA Yamaguchi and the Southern Ute High SPRINGS School TRAIL Reservation border (see map). SYSTEM Llama Falls is a unique volcanic DAKOTA SPRINGSby a sheer, intrusion characterized TRAIL SYSTEM steep drop that is a mandatory run at most flows.

Mesa Canyon is not a 622 recommended tubing stretch!

Mother Spring

Tubing is only recommended in lower water (below 400 cubic feet per second); rafting is recommended above 400 CFS. Water levels can fluctuate daily, please check before you go. NAVAJO State law requires ages 12 and under to wear PFD / life jackets. Tubers should exit the water at ZUNI Yamaguchi Park. 10TH ST

Based on the flow, the San Juan River can have class I, II and III rapids. Tubers and private rafters TO UPTOWN should access the San Juan River DISTRICT More Lodging, ROS ITA river at the designated public Dining, Shopping access locations, along a 2 mile stretch from the River Center to 160 Elementary School the south end of Yamaguchi Park.
