Singer-songwriter and recording artist Gráinne Loucia Duffy, born in 1983 in Castleblayney, Co. Monaghan, discovered her voice at an early age, joining school and church choirs at nine. After being denied entry to her school’s music programme as a teenager, she taught herself guitar, inspired by her sisters’ record collections and a love of blues. She went on to study classical music and voice at the Irish Conservatory of Music in Dublin, later completing studies in classical and jazz at Maynooth University, and a PhD in Blues at Dublin City University.
Gráinne’s career began with the independent release of her debut album Out of the Dark (2007), written after receiving studio time as a gift. She has since released four further albums: Test of Time (2011), Where I Belong (2017), Voodoo Blues (2020) and Dirt Woman Blues (2023). A contemporary blues artist with diverse influences, she has toured extensively across Ireland, the UK, Europe and internationally, performing at major festivals including Glastonbury and Mahindra Blues Fest. Her upcoming album What Am I Supposed to Do?, recorded in Los Angeles, is due for release in autumn 2025.

Handle With Care brings together the work of Tom Bevan and Leontia Haldenby whose sculptural practices transform familiar objects into new material experiences. Drawing on the languages of play, domesticity and material culture, both artists reconfigure everyday forms to explore how meaning emerges through our encounters with objects, inviting curiosity, reflection and new ways of seeing the familiar.
