Students will engage in a 60-minute embodied movement session aimed at having fun while connecting our minds with our bodies and breath via movement in a safe environment with a qualified, former professor whose grant-funded research focused on this work. Sessions will be tailored to meet students’ needs and interests. Students will need to wear clothing that allows for movement and bring a workout/yoga mat, water bottle, and towel. Students will learn about and receive the opportunity to engage in various meditation and mindful practices of increasing difficulty in a safe environment with a qualified, former professor, whose grant-funded research focused on this work. Practitioners, regardless of skill level, will receive tailored guidance to meet their individual needs, interests, and experience. Students will need to bring a water bottle, wear comfortable clothes. A meditation pillow, blanket/mat and any other prop support is welcomed.
