Sun, Sea & Slam Bridge Tournament
Bridge is a trick-taking card game played by four players in two partnerships. It's known for its complexity, requiring strategy, communication, and teamwork. Sun, Sea, and Slam encourage friendly competitions and rivalries from people across the world, such as Canada, USA, Europe, Neighboring Caribbean Islands, and locals. Over 250 people participated in 2024 with the demographic being majority person over 50 years old.

Barbados Sailing Week invites all sailing enthusiasts from across the world and region to take in the vibrant atmosphere that Barbados has to offer. Visitors and locals get to partake in controlled yacht racing around the coast of the island in 2024 7 visiting yachts partook in sailing week accumulating 60 visitors.

The Barbados Game Fishing Association hosts 10 fishing tournaments a year with the largest being International Game Fishing Tournament. This event lasts around 5 days with entertainment in both the night and day.

Junior Pan American Field Hockey Championships
This is the new secondary qualifier to the Junior Pan American Games. Panam Sports (formerly PASO), the continental body of the International Olympic Committee, started the Junior Pan American Games as a pathway to the Youth Olympic Games. The Junior Pan American Games will also qualify athletes to the senior Pan American Games, and the winning team automatically qualifies.
This will bring the best young players across Latin America and the Caribbean to Barbados for exciting field hockey.

Barbados Surf Pro & Live Like Zander Jr. Pro 2024 upgraded to a 5000-point and 1000-point qualifying series for adults and juniors respectively. This dual-competition event took place at Soup Bowl Beach, St. Joseph, Barbados. This year’s competition was composed of 248 competitors with 227 being overseas competitors.

Roger Boyce Classic & IFBB World Cup
The Roger Boyce Classic is an amateur bodybuilding competition that provides the winners the chance to be eligible and qualify for their IFBB Elite Pro Card (through the athlete’s respective National Federation). In 2024 the inaugural IFBB World Cup became one with the Roger Boyce Classic and it will remain for the years moving forward the World Cup is placed as one the highest qualification competitions for Body Building the combining of these competitions increased foreign visitation to over 400+

Barbados Invitational Masters Classic
The BIMFC is the largest veterans/masters football tournament in the Caribbean and has developed a very loyal fan base over the past 25 years. Many of our touring teams (from U.K., Canada, U.S.A, and the Caribbean) come for the camaraderie associated with this competitive soccer tournament and to enjoy the spectacular turquoise waters and rum drinks that flow in abundance. All four of our cup finals (Over 35s, 40s, 50s and 55 & Over Categories) are played at the BFA Headquarters Turf on Whit-Monday night at our world-class Technical Center with world-class floodlights and a spanking new facility.

The European Legends tour offers the most unique amateur golfing experience there is. This tournament consists of such a high-caliber playing catalog with former Major Winners, World Number Ones, and Ryder Cup Players and Captains, and a growing number of celebrities playing for charity. The tour leg in Barbados consisted of 60 foreign players hosted by Ian Woosnam.

Rally Barbados is the crown jewel of motorsports in Barbados, its huge popular fanbase gathers spectators and motor enthusiasts across the island as they follow the drivers competing for the renowned title of rally Barbados champion. This event is a mixture of fashion, entertainment, and high-quality racing.
The Derby is the most established race within the racing industry both locally and internationally as it is the benchmark of the breeding Industry, and it is every Breeder and Owner’s dream to breed a Derby winner. Derby Day is a highly anticipated event on our annual racing calendar. It is the 3rd and final leg of the Barbados Triple Crown Series with the other two races being the Barbados Guineas and the Midsummer Creole Classic.

Sir Garfield Sobers International U19 Cricket Competition
The crown jewel of secondary school cricket across the island. The tournament's reiteration after a four-year hiatus was welcomed back with excitement among the cricket community locally, regionally, and internationally.
The tournament comprised 6 overseas teams and 12 local teams, as 2025 is approaching there’s an even larger interest from overseas teams.

Barbados Ninja Throwdown is a competition designed to present a thrilling, exciting, and limited-testing contest for athletes and stunt enthusiast spectators. Barbados Ninja Throwdown is the only course in the Caribbean that can qualify athletes for the World Ninja Throwdown League, in 2024 the competition has expanded to 2 days to not only benefit athletes but also allow for more engagement from the audience. Ninja Throwdown garnered 180 overseas ninjas, and their guests (friends, family & family) totaling to 525 persons, in addition to 10 overseas competition officials and 2 international broadcasters.

Caribbean Premier League (CPL)
The CPL has continued to deliver with its thrilling atmosphere across the various Cricket Stadiums. Since 2013, the CPL integrated under the West Indies Cricket Board and has consisted of 6 Caribbean teams that compete for the title of CPL Champions. Over the years, the fast-paced T-20 format has seen the incorporation of entertainment with performances, influencers, and bands, all to enhance both the competitor’s and viewers’ experience as the tournament takes place. Kensington Oval the crown jewel for cricket in the Caribbean has seen many electrifying CPL games as the Oval fills with spectators and supporters of the participating teams.

The triathlon consists of 4 events Olympics sprint, Sprint distance, Sprint Relay, and Super Sprint. Participation in this event consists of around 40+ combining all age groups and all regional, international, and local participants.

The Barbados Open Water Festival (BOWF) is the largest in the Caribbean. It’s unique, being the only 5-day Open Water Festival in the Caribbean and one of the few internationally.
