The summer season in Westman is packed with places to go, things to do and sights to see - camping, fishing, swimming, golf, water sports not to mention country fairs and shows. Located within the RM of Sifton, Oak Lake Beach and Resort with a marina, sandy beach, kids play structures, and golf course is a one stop summer destination in the area. Oak Island Golf Course is a premier 18-hole course amid oak trees, located near the Oak Lake Beach and Provincial Park. The town of Oak Lake

is just 10 minutes to the east, boasting a museum, antiques shopping, necessities and the Oak Lake Golf. Also in the RM of Sifton, just off of the TransCanada between Oak Lake and Virden, you’ll find prime camping in Aspen Grove. There’s a pool, and a cozy campground in the sand hills. For a morning or evening fishing expedition in the RM of Wallace-Woodworth, cast a rod into the lazy Assiniboine River in Virden Valley or visit Eternal Springs for a chance to make a catch. Lonesome Oak Campground is located at Kenton Dam is on Highway 21 near
