Powder-coated, high-strength aluminium. Teak wood. Stainless steel sink and water tap.
The Vipp Open-Air outdoor collection is crafted from powder-coated aluminium renowned for its durability when well maintained. Follow the instructions and treat the outdoor collection with proper care to preserve its lasting appeal and appearance for years to come.
Keep powder-coated surfaces clear of debris like bird droppings, mud, and leaves to prevent damage. Clean with warm water and mild detergent using a lint-free cloth or soft brush. Finish by wiping dry with a dry cloth.
The teak used on the kitchen is untreated and natural. As it weathers, the wood will gradually shift from golden brown to a silvery grey - a natural characteristic of teak. During this aging process, the wood may transfer some of its natural oils and pigments onto the aluminium frame. This is to be expected and is considered a normal trait of the kitchen’s material composition.
It is recommended to let the teak wood develop a natural patina over time. Rich in natural oils, teak is resistant to fungi and weathering. If preferred, the wood can be treated with standard teak oil to help preserve its original golden hue.
