Centered around patients' choice, there is an urgency to redirect stigma within the sphere and comfort of inpatient facilities.
Limiting ostracization is achieved through attenuation of negative stimuli, incuring sensory design that creates positive redirection from patients' fixed setting; varied furniture choices, cyrcadian rythym lighting, and sense of place all within the patients' control. Supplemented by acoustical treatment , soft-to-touch elements & sensory led wayfinding techniques. Color theory is put into place in differing interactions of the space ranging from quiet zones for patients to group activity room.

Implementation of design tools in the resturaunt are envisioned through a cultural lense, biophilia is used in high traffic areas, foliage featured designs, in tandem with archways that encompass biomorphic forms.
Space planning to create both prospects of navigation and refuge within a space, alcoves vs. open layouts are defined loosely within EDEN, propogated with use of materiality and context (Ian Higgins, 2015).

Materiality relates to specific use of stone, its texture and tonality, with detail concerning Lebanese architectural geometric forms, (Schröpfer T,2011) (Ragette, F. 1980).
