Note the dates above. We do not have anything organised for January but if anyone feels like organising an impromptu picnic because the weather is amazing – feel free. Let us know and we’ll get an email/phone call out. Our last Club run for the year is on the 25th November and you will hear from Colin soon with the details. He is planning a run up to Reefton and will include a lunch stop. If for some reason you miss your phone call and wish to come along, please ring Colin or myself (phone nos above). NOTE: Subscriptions are now overdue and the discount will be lost. Last week we had 22 members still unfinancial – check that you have paid or pay now if you wish to continue your membership and it means we don’t have to contact you. If you want to resign, contact Julie at National Office. See Beaded Wheels for details. There is a group from Canterbury travelling over this way over Show Weekend. If you meet up with any of them, make yourselves known.

SOUTH ISLAND EASTER RALLY … 19th to 22nd April 2019 – Ashburton Branch 50th Anniversary. 4 vehicles (8 people) going from here that I know of. Anyone else interested ???
This is a very short and sweet newsletter this month as not much has been happening. If I can rake up some energy next year, I might do some shoulder tapping and get some history of Club members. I see these in other Club mags and it is very interesting. The only rule is – if you are tapped on the shoulder you are not allowed to say NO.

You can go online to www.vcc.org.nz to read the current Branch magazines. On the home page you will see News from the Branches on the left. SERVICE BADGES – To those members who are nearing 25, 35 or 50 years membership, please contact Membership officer David Campbell. You are entitled to a service badge for your continued membership. Check out the date you joined the Vintage Car Club.
NAME BADGES – Also, please contact David Campbell if you would like a name badge. The Branch supplies your first one.
VIC FORMS - A reminder to all members who have VIC cards that are due to expire, you will receive a personalised RENEWAL FORM from the National Office at least three months before the due date. You cannot download a form off the internet. They are personalised for each individual vehicle. Please fill in and hand to Branch Secretary.
VERO INSURANCE - If you take your Insurance out with VERO they will then pay the Branch a small Commission which helps with Branch finances. Please note that when applying for Insurance cover with VERO you must quote the Branch number which is 36 plus your membership number. Also you are reminded that this scheme is set up for financial members only.
