Matters Arising;- Cancer Society requested the use of the Clubrooms on their Daffodil Day to store flowers, agreed to. Members reminded of upcoming events & dates, Garage Raid 22-7-17, Shiny Bits Auction, Timaru August, & Waimate Swap Meet 2nd September. Correspondence;- Head Office, National Daffodil Day for Cancer, forms re Annual meeting, National & Club. Re Club Constitution a copy to be sent Head office for reviewing. Moved Stewart & Marie Mehlhopt passed Treasurers Report;- As per attachment, plus motion, “Fiona Brown be given $60 for reviewing Financial statement” moved Robert Todd & Stewart Townshend, passed Reports, Club Captain;- Suzanne said that said that She Marie & Steve had some ideas for Daffodil rally & that the McLaren film was coming soon as a fund raiser for the Waimate 50 Club & that we should support it. Parts;- still trying to organise sale of scrap Club Rooms;- every thing OK, some minor repairs. General;- The Chairman reported that the Makikihi Hotel Publican, Bruce Milne, had arranged to donate 50 2018 calendars to the Club. It was agreed unanimously that the club would sell them off as a fund raiser. A lengthy discussion ensued after the club Captains report. Meeting closed at 8.10 pm The film Genevieve following the meeting, was enjoyed by those who stayed

Club Captains Report Past the shortest day, it can only get better! We have the Garage Raid on the 22nd of this month. August. Daffodil delivery on the 17th AugustAlso, on Sunday 27th,Cancer Society event, to be decided. Last club night we had a film about the rally from London to Brighton. Those who attended the meeting enjoyed the film. Last week the club lost a colourful member with the passing of Keith Lange. MAKIKIHI HOTEL 2018 CALENDAR'S We are now taking orders for next years calendars that have kindly been donated. To the Waimate Vintage Car Club , from Bruce Milne at the Makikihi Hotel. This is a very kind gesture and one that we hope members will take advantage of. Christmas presents... great gift that is extremely useful and advertises our precious club.
