January 2026 Greetings to all for another year. We had our family get-together prior to Christmas Day and had the fire on, a bit on the cool side., which hasn’t really improved much at all. I hope wherever you have been over the holidays you have enjoyed family and friends to share it with. Thinking of those who have not been so well too. South Otago A & P Show 29th November. Robin McCall, Paul McNabb and David Renton transported the Show Queens to the Showgrounds where they had lunch then into the showring for speeches and presentations. For sale - Rare 1930 Bedford light truck. Was the first Bedford to come to Dunedin to Otago Motors. Wednesday Run outing on 3 December was a picnic at the Mt Stuart Reserve. Thanks to Tony Gold for the photographs, looks like it was a good gathering once again. This was followed by afternoon tea in Lawrence at the Prospector. Setting up for lunch under the trees. I can spot Renton’s Triumph, the McDonalds vehicle and Neville King’s VW.
Members Carolyn & Donald Campbell have transferred to the Otago Branch – we wish them well for the future.
Wednesday Run – 4th February. Meet at Beaumont 11.30 a.m. Bring your picnic lunch to have at Roxburgh, after buying your fruit travel on to Lawrence for coffee at the Prospector Café.
