Club Captain’s Report Our main focus has been the organization of Windsor Rally which is being held on Saturday 2nd December. Members are asked to provide a plate of food for afternoon tea please and this is to be brought to the start of the Rally. We would like to thank the members who provided vehicles and joined us in the Santa Parade. We wish you a Safe & happy Christmas and look forward to seeing you all again sometime in 2018. Swap Meet 2017 Firstly a huge thank you to our team. Who worked fantastically in front and behind the scenes. I Decided to change the way we set up the event. So we had a girly area and of course the main event the boys area. We booked up so had to pop in an extra row. We had the local steam truck and 50 + vintage vehicles from the Christchurch VCC. Kathleen, myself, Gilbert and Jim organised a run/lunch from our swapmeet. There was so many Vintage vehicles and people. I’m happy to say the day was a huge success both weather wise and we managed a surplus of over $2650 rounded after expenses. A huge thank you to our sponsors, Mill motors, the Soc retreat and discount from Brackens and the Oamaru mail which kept our costs down. Also the Lions club who supplied great food. Lynette Newell.
