From the Editor: A very slim offering this month, as we have not had any events about which I can report. It puts me in mind of other slim volumes, e.g. “Reliable Austin 7’s I have owned”, by G. Moore and C. Cowie, “How to Enunciate Clearly”, by S. Bridges, “How to build an Innovative British Car”, by B.M.C. Leyland, ” M.G. models I approve of”, by P. Croft, “ Banks Peninsula Branch Clubroom Proposals”, by G Bain, and so on. Mentioning P.Croft brings to mind a recent incident. John MacDonald, who comes to all our events and takes superb photos, sent some of his Pomeroy photos and an accompanying article to Beaded Wheels for the next issue, and suggested a particular photo for the front cover. Back came the reply. “The photo we want for the front cover is of that red Ford driven by the bearded guy.” Great vehicle knowledge from the BW team, at least they got two of the letters correct. .A rare moment of glory for the bearded guy. Remember, you read it here first. You will all have received the agenda for the AGM, with the reports and financial statements. Do come along on Thursday to support the committee, and share your ideas about future events and any other matters you would like to raise. Colin Lewis is standing down from the committee, and on behalf of the club, I want to thank Colin for his positive and cheerful contribution to club activities. This
