GENERAL BUSINESS: Report from Steve regarding the state of the Forklift. It is basically had it. Discussion followed regarding replacement. Bill’s son is looking into procuring another. Steve & Bill are to investigate the best means for sale of the forklift. Moved Lyn seconded K Blackman. 1 vote opposed. Have been offered the clean up of I Melton’s shed and surrounds for scrap. An offer has been made for the club to work on a Model A restoration project. Members to investigate further before making a decision. Jim & Lyn are donating a new range and dishwasher to the club. Decided that storage of their vehicles will be free. Parkers Corner is closing. All photocopying will be done in future at the Community Link Suggestion that the club have a social hour once a month for camaraderie. Suggestion to set up the library, the room will need a good clean. There is a vacancy for another publicity Officer. Job description/ duties needed Kitchen crockery needs sorted and excess maybe donated to Red Cross. Next Meeting:

Another month goes rushing buy in fact its almost the end of day light saving. The year is definitely passing us by Aha. Looks like there has been some interest in our forklift no buyer's yet though. Don't forget members if you fancy a drive in an older car and yours may be off the road the Club has the Austin Maxi that needs to have a run every now and then. You know what happens if these Vehicles aren't used. We need some more input and ideas for monthly activities. If you have a good idea please bring it to the next meeting. Our new librarian position has been filled. Thanks to this person to offer there help. All will be revealed at the next meeting. I had a great experience last weekend while I was in Cromwell. I had a go in the Ferrari Race car. That was an experience. That also l will give you a run down at the next meeting. There has been some progress with my Imp. Brake lights now go some sanding of the orange peel with new paint work a cut and polish tyres painted and now in Timaru waiting awaiting for its new vin number. Fingers crossed. Will catch up at the next meeting 7.30pm.

Have had a big clean up and the skip is almost full Club Captain: Peter Bland M Rogers spoke on the recent run to the Morven Domain for lunch. A very good day and well supported with 33 people – A good day. P Bland also thanked everyone for their attendance. Run to Kurow next month (April) Sunday before Easter (10th). Meet 10am at the clubrooms. May - 3 passes in reverse June – Mid-winter xmas run – suggestions please. GENERAL BUSINESS:
Club Captains Report March Club Run It was great to see such a large roll up at our March run I think we had about 16 cars turn up and the weather even turned on a great day as well. We all meet at the club rooms for the run which would have been the short run for the Wallaby Rally. The get together at the Morven Domain for lunch was very relaxing and was a good time to catch up with everyone. Our Run for April will be a start at the club rooms at 10 am (not 10.30 ha ha) on Sunday the 10th. For a drive across to Kurow for picnic lunch beside the Waitaki river in the picnic area between the two bridges. Then it will be your own choice if you want to return to Waimate directly or go back through Duntroon and Seven Mile Rd. We are looking at doing the three passes on May the 15th but this time in the opposite direction to last year. More info to come for this later.
