Was obvious at the dinner that the hall heating needs to be upgraded. Report on state of electrical supply to hall to be done. CHAIRMANS REPORT Hi guys. Time to put pen to paper again. Thank you Robert for bringing along a DVD for us to watch at our last meeting. It was a good insight of the coal mining on the West Coast. If anyone has a DVD that they would like to share with us give me a ring and I can fit it in at our next meeting. Just a reminder to members for ideas for better heating in our club room it will be beneficial to us all. Heads up on the garage raid in Timaru. It's confirmed August 6th. Need to know roughly how many people would be attending from our club for catering purposes. Please let me know at the next meeting. Daffodil Day is looming let's give it some thought there maybe something else we could do to raise funds. I think I have finally fixed the water leaks with the Imp YAH. I've since fitted some new mudflaps it's looking good. So hopefully on our next run I will have it out. Just a quick note this month so till our next meeting on Thursday 21st July Cheers. Owen Duthie
Club Captains Report Its been a really cold month, but this dod not stop 12 of us venturing out for the Mid Winter Christmas meal and what a meal it was . Most of us had seconds, the entertainment was fun and had our 2 teams laughing heaps, as they played against each other. Peters fact or grasp quiz went down a treat morning tea. Sunday’s drive to Mia Flora Café and Garden centre was cancelled so the 5 of us went to the Barn for morning tea. I wish to thank those of you turned up to help on Saturday afternoon and a mention to Barry who came into help but could not attend as Suzanne is back on clutches Thank You Lynette Boaden
