Chairman's/Vice Chairman's Report For those of you who don’t know , Steve Dyson has recently had shoulder surgery . And is still incapacitated, hence the reason I am writing this Chairman’s Report. As I write this , the forth coming Wallaby Rally is as close as the heat wave promised from Australia. The Badges are all ready , along with the Rally Routes. These have been double checked. Now we are just waiting on the final entries , and great day. At our recent meeting Suzanne bought up about the forthcoming 3 Gorges and 3 Passes Run. A date to be confirmed. After 2 false starts due to the weather , would be lovely to see this one go ahead. The Club have received a letter of Thanks , from the family of the late Margaret Cruikshank. Her family commended all that were involved in such a momentous day. Just a last wee comment: It would be really great to see some new faces at our next meeting and forth coming events. Club Captains Report I hope you all had a great Christmas, and the new year will treat you all well. Our Christmas get together at the Galleon in Oamaru was very enjoyable, but our Bowling efforts afterwards left a lot to be desired. Some of us were very good but some need more practise! However it was a lot of fun. The Wally Rally is fast approaching I hope you have your entries filled out and are looking forward to the day. Remember Saturday 9th February. Barry and I went to the Fairlie New Year’s Day parade and had a great day viewing the various vehicles on display. I have added a few photos of the more unusual ones. Looking forward to catching up with you all. Drive safely Suzanne.
THIRD TIME LUCKY We are going to give the 3 Passes and 3 Gorges another go. After flooding and snow cancelled the first two attempts we are going to try for March 16th. We will keep you posted with details closer to the date. Suzanne
