Hi everyone Well another year nearly gone (thank goodness) Not a good year with covid etc so I hope 2021 will be better A few of us turned up to fix the water problem last week and With the help of Jonathan and his digger it was done in about 4 hours.We fixed the main water leak from the toby box and the Storm water from the clubrooms to the footpath.A big thanks

Club Captains Report This is the last report for 2020. Hopefully next year will not be as eventful! The last few events for the club have been enjoyable. The combined lunch and bowling was fun. Unfortunately the lunch left a bit to be desired, but the bowling was great, with the refurbished lanes. Five cars from waimate went to the Windsor Rally held by the North Otago vintage car club, and one brave motorbike rider.This was their 70th Windsor Rally. Congratulations are in order for a great day. There was an amazing 70 plus entries and some amazing vehicles Our end of year get together and barbecue at Peter and Linda Blands lovely home was A great success, and we all enjoyed the tour around the homestead. Perhaps next year a few more members may make the effort to attend events. Hope all have a safe and happy break, and safe driving. Suzanne

A excellent day (weather wise).The vintage car club had a small Representation of four cars not a good turnout but because of the Windsor Rally I was not surprised. The classic car club had about 20 cars and there Was a good turnout of floats,from contractors to schools.The weather Stayed fine so there was a good turnout of spectators,a really good crowd lined main street Christmas B.B.Q. Sunday a small group of us went to Peter and Linda’s for a b,b,q lunch A big thanks goes out to them, this was a great opportunity to see all The work that they have put into restoring a wonderful old homestead. Thanks again guys
