Annual Dinner Report: The Milton Country Club was the venue for the Annual Dinner with Catering from Kelly’s Kitchen staff. Another enjoyable evening with delicious food and good company. We welcome prospective member Phill Rose and his wife who live in Milton and joined us for the evening making themselves known to attendees.
July 2021 With great sadness we record the passing of Don Jenks, dedicated member, supporter and helper to all members. Don has been involved in Club affairs for many years giving of his time and talents freely and along with his late wife Jean they enjoyed motoring and participating in Club activities, events, fundraising etc. Our sincere sympathies go to Don’s family. The Branch A.G.M. was held with 15 members present on a very cold evening. Thank you to those who were able to come along and support the Club. The position of Club Captain was not able to be filled, if you feel you could fill this roll it would be much appreciated. Chairman Robin presented the Annual Report thanking everyone for their support over the past 12 months. When we look back there have been a lot of happenings and great comradery. Treasurer Paul presented the Financial Balances with his meticulous detail as usual with thanks to Cecile Jenks for reviewing these for us.
Auction Night Our turn to host the Vintage Machinery Club members along for the evening to raise some funds for each Club with items that will tempt the willing buyers. Bring along your unwanted treasurers, someone else just might wish to be the new owner of. This is a fun night and the funds raised certainly help to keep the Club running each year. A supper plate would be appreciated please. Wednesday Run 4th August Meet at the Clubrooms 1.30 p.m. As winter is still with us a tarseal run is planned with tea/coffee to follow. Have some ideas or suggestions for upcoming activities – pass them on to Chairman Robin.

Russell and Pat Findlater organised the outing to Owaka on tarseal roads to visit the extensive shop and display of new items and articles of yesteryear. Something for everyone to view.

From there they travelled to the café which used to be the Port Molyneux School building being made very welcome in a lovely warm room to enjoy some welcome refreshments.
