From the Chair Well what a month. First off we have the lockdown limiting us in our movements. However on the bright side it’s a good chance to give our machines a little TLC. It has also been a sad month with the Club having 3 of its members pass away – Bill Skeggs, Alywn Hoskins and Dave Stuart. Our sincere condolences are with these families. For me however this month has proved a milestone in which on the 1st April 50 years ago I left school and started an apprenticeship with T R Taylors Reconditioning Shop. This continuing my interest in older vehicles. Here I learnt all the ins and outs of building motors, etc – white metalling, reboring/sleeving, valve grinding, something I’m still doing today and also still learning. Our National office sent down some homework for the Secretaries of each branch to do. This was a list of members whose contacts were incomplete whether it was the phone numbers, email address, etc. Janet enlisted the help of Rae Wilson and Barry Hayman to help with contacting these
