PASSEPORT-LOISIR To obtain an individual Passeportloisir, you must present yourself at the recreation department service counter in the Centre culturel G.-P.-Vanier with a piece of identification and proof of residency. To obtain a family Passeportloisir, proof of residency must be supplied for each member of the family. THE "PIQUE-NIQUES AU FIL DE L’EAU" PICNIC in collaboration with SCABRIC Saturday, June 8, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Parc Marcel-Seers Boulevard D'Youville will be closed between Girouard and Roy streets for the duration of the activity. Temporary Exhibit MACREDIE – OUVRAGES D'ART June 13 to August 25 This exhibit highlights watercolours by Alice Macredie, painted in memory of her father’s work, JRC Macredie, engineer. The latter was in charge of the construction work of several bridges and viaducts in Western Canada. The exhibit combines art, history and engineering.

Set on the site of the historic Maison Gravel and first launched during the Journées de la culture, the exhibition will continue until November. Prizes will be awarded to four photographs that really stand out: three in the “Resident“ category and one in the “Ville de Châteauguay employee“ category. The photos may showcase the City’s history, show local people or depict breathtaking landscapes and scenes. Above all, the contest is an extraordinary forum to make your voice heard as a citizen and share your experience and point of view.

Those who register after the end of May 19 will pay a late fee representing 25% of the initial registration costs, unless the child is already registered in another day camp program. A valid Passeport-loisir is mandatory.
Starting Monday, July 2, children registered in the Activ'Été day camp will be riding through the streets of Châteauguay. The peak periods to watch are from 9 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. and from 3:45 to 4:15 p.m. Some trips may also take place at any other time because of the camp's many outings and activities. This summer, take extra care to ensure the safety of our children!
New residents who arrive after the end of the registration period are exempt from this late fee. Some activities may be complete given the limited places available.

Through readings or fun activities, children registered for the club will become true explorers and discover the flora and fauna, wild or unexplored areas, as well as natural phenomena.
