Midwinter Issue 2025 | Vol. 56, No. 4
Letter From The Editor Sabrina Pasko ‘26 Congratulations! Now that winter break and the first semester are over, it is officially the second half of the year! As February is now here, many of us are gearing up for Valentine’s Day. But this year, I’d like to take an article to celebrate something just as important: Galentine's Day. For those who may not be familiar, Galentine’s Day is all about celebrating the friendship and support we share with our closest friends. For us students, who are constantly navigating exams, school work, and sports, it is necessary to have supporting, understanding friends who serve as an outlet for us on stressful days. Without true friends, life would seem impossible. With Galentine's Day, we are reminded to take a break from the academic stress and celebrate the people who help us through it. In a time when academic workloads are heavier than ever, friends can make all the difference. In this issue of Towerette, our writers created articles about love, friendship, and how we can celebrate the friendships around us, especially at Villa. One of the most important aspects of Villa is the numerous friendships we make along the way.
What better way to celebrate those friendships than to celebrate Galentine’s Day? So, this February, let’s celebrate the people who make our lives more worth living. The Towerette staff hopes you enjoy this issue and maybe it will inspire you to reach out to your childhood friends, gift your friends a little something, or even throw a Galentine’s Day brunch.
