REMINDERS:      

 

Freshmen: Students can request to meet with Mrs. Devins to review their PSAT scores and to review their academic year. Seniors: Just a reminder that your nal transcripts will be sent to the college you are attending during the week of June 10, 2024. Juniors have met with Mrs. Devins during their English class to discuss the College Essay, Brag Sheet and Student Resume. All students are encouraged to check the Guidance website for summer opportunities and college information. Students and parents are encouraged to submit their brag sheets to the Guidance Office no later than July 1, 2024. (Class of 2025) e Guidance Department will be hosting a College Application Boot Camp for seniors. Tentative Date and Time: August 19 and August 21, 2024 – exact time TBD. Additionally, there will be a mandatory college meeting for all parents and students of the Class of 2025 on September 12, 2024 at 7:00pm in the Grace Ann Café. Questions about working papers, course selection or college options should be sent to devinse@villawalsh. org. Working papers are now found online.



e Endicott College Book Award is being given to celebrate the extraordinary accomplishments of a junior student. In recognition of your academic achievement, dedication to community service and interest in experiential learning, this award is being given to Claudia Steinberg’25.



e John B. Stetson Junior Scholarship is a prestigious award designed to support high-achieving high school juniors in their pursuit of higher education at Stetson University. Valued at $35,000, this scholarship is intended to help with the nancial burden of educational expenses at Stetson University. is scholarship signi es Stetson University’s commitment to recognizing and investing in the academic potential and future success of exceptional students. e recipients of this award are Nora Dam'25 and Kaitlyn Pavagadhi’25.



e St. Bonaventure Award recognizes two junior students for their academic achievement and service to the school and their community. e Bonnie Scholar Award quali es award winners for an annual scholarship of $20,000. is year, the Bonnie Scholar Award is being given to Madeline Knagenhjelm’25 and Audrey Wilbanks’25.



e University of Rochester presents the Bausch & Lomb Honorary Science Award to a high school junior who demonstrates exceptional promise in the sciences. Recipients are chosen on the basis of their high school curriculum in the sciences, academic excellence and standardized test scores. Winners of the Bausch & Lomb Honorary Science Award are automatically considered for a four year scholarship to the University of Rochester which totals at least $20,000. It is our pleasure to give this award to Anna Collins’25.
