GUIDANCE REMINDERS On Friday, February 21, we celebrated 100 Days until Graduation with the Class of 2025. During the breakfast, we discussed several upcoming important dates and planned activities for the seniors. ese events include St. Gerard eld day, senior retreat and graduation rehearsal dates. We appreciate all who helped in making this event special! We look forward to these exciting occasions as we celebrate our Class of 2025! College Night for parents of the Class of 2026 was held on Tuesday, March 11. Mrs. Devins, Director of Guidance, presented on the college process at Villa Walsh Academy. ank you to all who attended the informative evening! Career Day was on April 10 and we virtually hosted eighteen Alumnae, who shared their journeys with our 9th - 12th grade students. Students attended four different sessions in the aernoon, and learned about various career elds including business, medical, law, nance, education, entertainment, advertising, and many more. We are beyond grateful to our alumnae for donating their time to give back to our school! e PSAT 10 for students in grade 10 was administered on Wednesday, April 2. e PSAT 8/9 for students in grade 8 and 9 was administered on Wednesday, April 9. GUIDANCE REMINDERS Seniors: If you have made your decision on where you will be attending and have deposited, please withdraw your applications from other schools. Seniors are STRONGLY encouraged to speak to Mrs. Devins about college options. Please notify the Guidance Department of any scholarship awards. Also, please check the Guidance website for scholarship opportunities. Seniors need to make their college deposit by May 1. Juniors: Please remember to register for upcoming standardized test dates. Sophomores & Freshmen: Students are continuing to meet individually with Mrs. Devins to discuss career and college searches.

More information will be shared as details are nalized.

VILLA SERVES Diversity Café Women’s History Month is a celebration of women’s contributions and in the spirit of WHM, Diversity Café is “Moving Forward Together! Women Educating and Inspiring Generations.” To kick off our celebration, a banner was placed in the cafe reminding us of women’s contributions to our history, our culture, and to society. On Friday & Saturday, March 28 & 29, three Villa Walsh students were able to take part in the rst NJ Catholic School Student Leadership Retreat held at the Delbarton School. Bianca Petrucci’27, Zoe Lenz’28 and Bernice Fernando’26, along with over forty other students from a number of New Jersey Catholic schools, were brought together to foster leadership, build community across Catholic schools and grow through service and re ection. Students participated in workshops on issues they value, as well as challenges they are facing. ey re ected on solidarity, community responsibility, and Catholic School Social teaching as well as issues in navigating our world. In addition, students participated in service at NourishNJ, the Market Street Mission and a children’s event at St. Margaret’s of Scotland in Morristown. e annual coffee-house was held on Friday, April 4 in the Assembly Hall. With lights dimmed, coffee brewing and a selection of treats from Linzer Torts (Zoe Lenz’28) to German Chocolate Cake (Clara Ainsworth’25) the evening was spent in “Community.” With that as our theme, presentations included Anne Rionda’27 - Cubanidad: e idea of Cuban Community and Culture, Nora Dam’25 presented her Met Project, Miranda Aviles’25 shared an original poem called ?Por que?, Emma Murphy’29 shared Irish Step Dance and Ines Lemee’25 closed
