Thankful for this Season! As we enter into the holiday season, there are many exciting events that bring us together in celebration, including the Fall Fashion Show and Auction on November 18, 2023! Receive the most up-to-date information regarding all upcoming events on the VWA website under Daily Announcements. Below are a few of the many VWA events in November/December 2023:
Color me Happy! The Color me Happy Fashion Show and Auction is here! We look forward to celebrating our daughters at this annual event on November 18, 2023 at 6 PM! Join us as a VWA family to raise funds that help expand the educational opportunities our school provides. This year, some of the major areas to which the funds will be applied is the payment of the library renovation loan, a much needed renovation to the HVAC system, and an update to the sound system in the auditorium. Your support is greatly appreciated. If you have not already done so, please CLICK HERE to purchase your tickets and join us. We can’t wait to share a wonderful evening together!
Vineyard Vines Fundraiser Do you want to begin your Christmas shopping early? Come to vineyard vines® in the Short Hills Mall on November 9 from 11-1 to receive 10% off any purchase made! The store will then contribute 10% of all purchases back to VWA. Win-Win! Look for further information on Instagram and Facebook.
Refugee Assistance of Morris County On November 9, 2023, students will participate in an assembly during which they will learn the mission of this organization, which seeks to assist vetted refugee families as they transition to productive lives of dignity, safety, and
hope in Morris County.
Villa Night In All students are invited to participate in Villa Night In on Friday, November 10, 2023. The Athletic Leadership Council hosts a fun evening of activities for students, including a food truck, s’mores and many fun games and activities. All students must have a parental permission form completed and returned to participate.
Senior Beach Overnight On November 14-15, 2023, all senior students are invited to spend the night at the St. Joseph by the Sea shore house of the Sisters Filippini in Mantoloking!
Thanksgiving Liturgy The Thanksgiving Liturgy will take place on November 21, 2023 at 1:45 PM, the last day of school prior to the Thanksgiving break. All families are invited to attend.
Faculty Christmas Letters/Gifts Following Thanksgiving break, information will be sent to all families regarding contributions to the group Faculty Christmas Gift.
Looking Ahead! Diversity Café The entire VWA community is invited to join the Diversity Café on December 1, 2023 for our annual Coffeehouse, where different creative talents and discussions are highlighted. It is a lovely way to begin the holiday season! More details to follow.
Booster Club Christmas Party On December 5, 2023, come spend a festive evening with your VWA family at the Grasshopper on the Green in Morristown for the annual December Booster Club meeting and Christmas Party!
Immaculate Conception Liturgy Join us on December 8, 2023 (Time TBD) in the St. Lucy Chapel for this Holy Day of Obligation Mass.
Christmas Concert Begin the Christmas season with joy and thanksgiving when you join the VWA community for The Christmas Concert on Sunday, December 10, 2023. Bring family, friends, grandparents, etc! All are invited to attend, even if your daughter does not participate in the concert. A Volunteer Sign-up will be sent out to all, as many volunteers are needed to
help in the preparations needed to put on this beautiful production.
Robotics Blood Drive This annual event, sponsored by the VWA Robotics Club is scheduled on December 11, 2023. More information to follow.
Christmas Tree Lighting Join us for a joy-filled evening of caroling, hot chocolate, and the VWA Christmas Tree Lighting on December 13, 2023!
Christmas in The Mansion Thursday, December 14, 2023 | 7 PM - 9 PM Purchase your tickets to this exclusive event at the Color me HAPPY Fall Fashion Show on November 18, 2023! Limited tickets available through the Silent Auction.
Villa Walsh Academy’s Semi-Formal The high school semi-formal will take place in Mother Ninetta Auditorium on Friday, December 15, 2023 from 7:30 PM -10 PM.
Advent Liturgy The Advent Liturgy will take place in the St. Lucy Chapel on December 19, 2023 (Time TBD). All families are invited to attend.
VWA Christmas Party The VWA Christmas Party is December 20, 2023, the last day of school prior to Christmas Break.
