WELCOME TO THE CABRINI CAMPUS This guide is designed to highlight all that the Cabrini Campus offers: reimagined classrooms, state-of-the-art labs, innovative dining facilities, exciting recreational options and much more. A vibrant community of approximately 900 residential students, 75 faculty and 200 staff make Cabrini their day-to-day home, while countless other Villanovans have the opportunity to take classes, attend events and enjoy activities there. The opening of the Cabrini Campus is more than the addition of new buildings and new spaces. It is the beginning of a new chapter in the story of Villanova University. We also recognize that many in our community have meaningful connections to Cabrini University and to the life of this campus. As Villanova begins this new chapter, we do so with deep respect for Cabrini’s history and mission, and the people who shaped it. Together, we have created a campus that honors the remarkable legacy entrusted to us while expanding our mission in ways that will serve students and society for decades to come.

ABOUT THE VILLANOVA UNIVERSITY CABRINI CAMPUS • The Cabrini Campus is located on 112 wooded acres, just under two miles from the Villanova Campus. • The Cabrini Campus—formerly its own university with all facets of university life—has been updated and renovated since Villanova acquired it in summer 2024. • Approximately 900 students, mostly sophomores, are housed in seven residential buildings designed for living in community. Specialized Living and Leadership Communities for sophomores are located on the Cabrini Campus.
• Five academic departments representing both undergraduate and graduate programs call the Cabrini Campus home. Faculty from other disciplines also teach courses on the campus. • A robust transportation system ensures easy and direct travel between the two campuses, with shuttles arriving every five to 10 minutes during peak hours. • Innovative dining options, a state-ofthe-art recreation center, a vibrant student center and dedicated study spaces are among the amenities available at the Cabrini Campus.

Classes are held in the Cabrini Campus’s two main academic buildings: Bellesini Hall and the Iadarola Center.
ACADEMICS Undergraduates from all class years and several graduate programs are regularly in class on the Cabrini Campus, which boasts outstanding classrooms, technology and labs for the academic departments that call it home: •T he Ethics Program, which offers core coursework to undergraduates in their sophomore year and to those pursuing an Ethics minor •P sychological and Brain Sciences, which utilizes Cabrini’s distinctive research and teaching spaces, including a new state-of-the-art vivarium, for its undergraduate and graduate programs •E ducation and Counseling, which educates primary and secondary school teachers and counselors in newly renovated, specially designed classrooms for its undergraduate and graduate programs •G raduate Nursing programs, which makes use of dedicated nursing classrooms and simulation spaces to complement those in Driscoll Hall on the Villanova Campus In addition, select Communication classes utilize media labs and other specialized facilities on the Cabrini Campus, including TV and podcast studios.
The Cabrini Campus is equipped with robust Wi-Fi both indoors and outdoors, turning any campus spot into a study or meeting space. 2
ORTIZ HALL Ortiz Hall is home to an interdisciplinary institute and several administrative offices, including: • The Mother Cabrini Institute on Immigration, an academic institute that advances the University’s Augustinian Catholic mission while honoring St. Frances Xavier Cabrini, patroness of immigrants; • A mini-CLAS Dean’s Suite, featuring the office of the assistant dean for Undergraduate Students and select CLAS graduate and undergraduate staff; • A satellite space for VSB’s Clay Center, offering both private advising and group collaboration spaces; and • The program home for the Sophomore Learning Communities team.
DEDICATED FACULTY LOUNGE Faculty traveling to the Cabrini Campus to teach classes or attend meetings or special events have access to a dedicated faculty lounge space in Room 112 of Bellesini Hall.
TAGASTE HALL Dedicated to supporting the academic and technology needs of the Cabrini Campus, Tagaste Hall serves as a study and quiet space for the entire community. Features include: • Two floors of open study spaces for students; • A TechZone service desk, offering the same capabilities as on the Villanova Campus, to address the IT needs of students, faculty and staff; and • A dedicated graduate student lounge, sponsored by the Grad Center. 3
STUDENT CENTER Located at the heart of the Cabrini Campus, Cascia Hall is a vibrant student center designed as a gathering and dining space for the entire community. In addition to dining options, Cascia Hall amenities include: • Open seating and tables for eating, gathering and lounging; • A spacious student lounge; • A game room with tabletop games such as pool and shuffleboard and screens that can be used for gaming or game watches; • A Villanova University Shop express location; • A grab-and-go convenience store; and • A Wildcard revalue machine and vPrint location.
FITNESS AND RECREATION The Dixon Center and Nerney Pavilion serves as the recreational hub of the Cabrini Campus. The building features an indoor pool, basketball courts, a group fitness studio, exercise equipment, a weight room and a suspended running track. Outdoor enthusiasts can take advantage of recreational facilities, including basketball, tennis, volleyball and pickleball courts. Visit villanova.edu/recreation for other information and hours.
Villanova faculty and staff have their own dedicated fitness facility and locker rooms within Cabrini’s Dixon Center. 4
MEETING AND EVENT SPACES Whether you are gathering your team of 10 or hosting a popular speaker, the Cabrini Campus offers numerous meeting and special event spaces for the Villanova community, all available for booking on VenueVU (villanova.edu/VenueVU). • Ortiz Auditorium (capacity: approx. 210) • The Ortiz Landing, an event space for gatherings and receptions • Private conference rooms and workspaces throughout campus • The Montefalco Lawn and Cabrini Arbor—outdoor event spaces featuring tree-lined gathering areas, fire pits and more

MISSION AND MINISTRY The legacy of St. Frances Xavier Cabrini and the mission of the Missionary Sisters of the Sacred Heart of Jesus inspire Villanova in both new and familiar ways. The Office for Mission and Ministry serves the Villanova community and celebrates the different beliefs, faith traditions and identities each member brings. Sacred Heart Chapel holds liturgical celebrations and weekly Masses, and is open daily from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. for personal prayer and quiet meditation. In Ortiz Hall, the Wolfington Family Mission and Ministry Suite is staffed weekdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., offering spaces to connect with others about purpose, meaning and spirituality. The suite also offers a dedicated Multifaith Prayer Room and faith-sharing Journey groups in the evenings.

WHERE TO EAT Several dining options, ranging from grab-and-go to restaurant-style, are available throughout the Cabrini Campus for students, faculty and staff. Student meal plans are active across both campuses.
Cascia Hall Enjoy only-at-Cascia dining opportunities, including: •L ocal Grounds x Holy Grounds, Holy Grounds reimagined as a full coffeehouse experience featuring local roasters and a communityfocused atmosphere; •R ooted, a fresh, customizable concept offering acai bowls, smoothies and grain and salad bowls, powered by local Pennsylvania and New Jersey farms and alumni-owned Pitaya Foods; and •T he Menu Maker, a rotating, student-driven dining concept featuring the types of menus and pop-up experiences students want to see.

Bellesini Hall Bellesini Hall offers all-you-care-to-eat dining for breakfast, lunch and dinner, with menus similar to all-you-care-to-eat dining locations on the Villanova Campus. Later this fall, we’ll also be introducing Table 1842, a reservationbased, restaurant-style experience at Bellesini Hall that features elevated menus, chef-ledcooking demos, etiquette dinners and other special events designed to foster connection through food. Please note that reservations will initially only be available for students.
Dixon Center and Nerney Pavilion Coming soon: Blended, powered by Pitaya Foods, will offer a curated menu ofhandcrafted smoothies designed to fuel students, faculty and staffafter a workout. For dining location hours, visit diningservices.villanova.edu
DID YOU KNOW? Launching later this fall, the Cabrini Campus will feature Nourish, a dedicated kitchen free from the top nine allergens. Nourish will provide a safe, certified dining experience for those with severe food allergies.

Shuttles between the Villanova Campus and the Cabrini Campus run on weekdays from 6:30 a.m.–10:30 p.m., and weekends from 8 a.m.–10:30 p.m.
CAMPUS SHUTTLE The Wildcat Shuttle operates between campuses, providing safe, reliable and convenient transportation for all Villanovans. Cabrini-West loop (Daily): Shuttle buses travel between the Cabrini Campus shuttle stop by the C-3 Parking Garage and the SEPTA regional rail station on the Villanova Campus. Cabrini-Sheehan loop (Daily): Shuttle buses travel between the Cabrini Campus shuttle stop by the C-3 Parking Garage and stop in front of Sheehan Hall on the Villanova Campus. For late-night transportation, Villanova offers an on-demand shuttle service between shuttle stops on both campuses. For students, faculty and staff with mobility concerns, a Mobility Shuttle is available on and between campuses and for limited off-campus rides to local medical offices for appointments. PARKING FOR FACULTY AND STAFF Faculty and staff who are working on the Cabrini Campus can purchase a C-2 Bellesini virtual parking permit. If you need to park on the Villanova Campus, your active C-2 permit is valid in the M-2 SAC Garage on the Villanova Campus. Faculty and staff who have a valid Villanova Campus parking permit may park in the C-2 Bellesini parking lot on the Cabrini Campus.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS Is the Cabrini Campus served by public transportation? There is no SEPTA service dedicated to the Cabrini Campus. For bus and train travel, faculty, staff and students should take the Wildcat Shuttle to: • The Cabrini-West stop on the Villanova Campus, for the Paoli-Thorndale Regional Rail Line, or • The Cabrini-Sheehan stop on the Villanova Campus, for the Norristown High-Speed Line or the SEPTA Route 106 bus that runs along Lancaster Avenue. Is it possible to walk to Cabrini from Villanova? While the campuses are just under two miles away from each other, walking requires travel along busy, narrow roads with no sidewalks, and is therefore not recommended. How will I know when buses arrive at each campus? The TripShot app provides real-time tracking for all shuttle routes. HEALTH AND SAFETY The Department of Public Safety operates 24/7, year-round, on both campuses and serves as the first responder for police, fire and medical calls. Safety and security measures available on both the Villanova and Cabrini campuses include: • Security cameras • 24/7 campus patrols by Public Safety officers • Emergency “blue light” phones • Wildcard door access to all residence halls • The Nova Alert system, which is used to deliver emergency alerts to registered mobile devices and/or email, depending on the preferences selected at sign-up. Regardless of which campus you are on, in the event of an emergency, you will receive notifications for both campuses. • The Nova Safe app, which allows students, faculty and staff to communicate with the Department of Public Safety’s dispatcher using a live chat. When contacted through the app, the dispatcher will be able to see the user’s location in real time.

All students have access to support at the University Counseling Center and 24/7 care at the Health Center on the Villanova Campus. Students who need transportation to the Health Services Building from any location on the Cabrini Campus or Villanova Campus can call Public Safety at 610-519-4444 to arrange a ride. If emergency transportation to a local hospital is needed, Public Safety will coordinate with local authorities to provide transportation via ambulance. If a student is having a mental or physical health crisis—whether they are on the Cabrini Campus or Villanova Campus—faculty and staff can call Public Safety’s emergency number (610-519-4444) for timely assessment by medical professionals and transportation to the Health Center or a local hospital via Public Safety or ambulance. In non-emergency situations, faculty and staff can seek resources for students by contacting the Dean of Students’ Office or University Counseling Center.
