King Of Berlin’s book: Like King Of The Road from Thrasher, I made a book, full of missions... At the end, the guy who collected the biggest amount of points, won. I tried to made it kind of fair for everybody, with a mix of, crazy, stupid, skateboardistic, and other alcoholic challenges. I had no idea a shit like this, could had such a huge impact on the trip. It was pretty much all about this evil-thing. Guys took it really seriously, and I lost control of my own monster-creation. Was awesome, thanks dudes. Jan’s perfect spot: We are in god damn Berlin, there are thousand spots all around the city, but Jan decided to bs 180 one of the worst set of stairs we found. Millions of people walking around, wet landing, not that wide, etc... Even if I didn’t got it at all (nodody did), it was great to watch. The Boss killing himself, throwing his body down some stairs, wearing a white shirt, like in the good old Misled Youth time... thanks for the show! Mellow Park Mission: It was already dark, we were already dead (after something like a 10h session), already late for Sancho’s birthday party... But Claude, Charly and me decided to look for this famous DIY spot. We did eat at every fucking stand-restaurant we found on our way, it took us forever, and finally there, it was closed, we couldn’t skate, but shit we had fun. This is also skateboarding! Fuck For Forest: Thanks a lot to Pascal Minder, without him, offering a beer to this homeless dude (it was one of the challenge), the trip would not had been the same. Yeah, we met this kind of middle-age fucked-up dude, playing the flute. He gave an amazing flyer to Pascal... A Fuck For Forest flyer... Go check this shit on the web it’s incredible... FFF! The Dude’s nervous breakdown: If you read Versus since a while, you already know that Claude is one of the best person you can go on tour with. He’s always happy, smily, funny (and hungry). But the last evening, nobody really know why, maybe he didn’t chilled enough (or not enough food?), he turned completely crazy! Amazing. He almost killed Sancho and Pascal with a beer, lost his K.O.B. Versus, forced a nazi-swiss-guy to make a backflip in a bar, ripped off his Bintang T-shirt (He asked me to bring him one from Bali...), almost destroyed the TV of our rented-appartment, etc... The day after, he didn’t talked that much, looked sad and worried, like we never saw him before. Life ain’t easy everyday on the highway to hell...

Alcohol-free beer: I got properly fucked on this one... Sancho offered me a beer (I couldn’t say no, it was one of the challenge), didn’t watched, took a sip, and everybody was laughing... Alcohol-free beer! Minus points! Fuck! Spited the half on Sancho’s face, and took a shower with the rest... Sancho’s birthday: Did a prostitute bring you a cake for your 16th birthday? Should I say some more? What happened on the road stays on the road right...? Or it ends up in Versus! Was fun as hell, gay-porn, chaos, alcohol, kicked-out, loud, wasted, etc... You know, just like another regular hard day at the office... Oh yeah, the kid is finally allowed to drink beer now! (ah-ah-ah...). Dont forget that we aren’t role-model Samir, get a life! The Bump: The first spot we went, where Charly and me had a really hard time trying to land our trick. Whatever, at the end, we did. Pascal G. did eat shit as well trying to fly over the entire thing. Claude was chilling, but hopefully, Claudio was there to documented the scene, because Jan had no battery on his camera (and was too busy skating anyway). After this session, we were pretty much all of us sore to death... We aren’t getting younger...
Black Jack: It’s quite expensive if you compare with the rest in Berlin, but god damn it, it’s so goooood! A perfect mix of Cola and Jack Daniel’s. Satan in can! Tequila suicide and more: The last night, I was like, ok, if you guys try a Tequila Suicide (drink the Tequila, snif the salt, lemon’s juice in your eyes...), I’ll pay it. Shit (beside Pascal G. aka The Role-Model) they all accepted... Another amazing scene, 10 guys getting fucked up at the table of a fancy restaurant! We didn’t got kicked out, no, the waiter even offered us a second round! It was just the begining of a really crazy evening... The Pipe: This 60meters long half-pipe ending up with a huge corner is one of the gnarliest spot I skated in my life... And Sammy Baca’s fs crailslide up there is probably one of the craziest trick ever done on a skateboard. Pascal G. and Charly ripped it too, even if the ground was full of a strange violet powder (we all ended up all purple too...). Thanks Claude & Claudio for shooting some great pictures.

The Power-point: After The Pipe session, we looked (and smelled) so bad, full colored, kinda fucked-up Alien style, half-drunk, we decided to make a beautiful purple “power-point” to each other, straight between the eyes... What else? I don’t know, we are still doing it from time to time, 2 months later... Claude’s paradise: In Berlin, you can eat everything, whenever you want, for almost nothing. Pretty much every other countries in the world should get a lesson. The Dude, as usual was eating more than all of us together, without having to care about getting even a bit of weight. Jan worked hard to get his “Biggest appetite award” but probably had to do diet when he went back home... while Claude was eating Fondue while skating! Claude’s drop: The spot is a pretty long double set, with a really narrow* bank all along. I dropped the first part a couple of times, and Claude was like, “Man do it, just do a powerslide on the flat and drop the second part too!” So I don’t really know why, I tried twice, slammed twice, and was over it... Then Claude did it first try, like it was nothing... Thanks! *really narrow for me, I mean it was something like 10” wide... but “huere easy” for the Dude... you know...

Charly’s drop #1: At the end if the first day, it was already getting dark, we were all exhausted, but Charly decided to take a huge drop. So scary, so sketchy, this shit was no joke. No problems, he took it like a man, before anybody was ready to take a picture... When it’s time, it’s time! He did it a second time, Pascal G. filmed it, so get ready, this clip should end up in The (coming soon...?) Versus-Video! Charly’s drop #2: Did you already had the chance to do the same trick than a pro did in a video, exactly at the same spot? Not me. Anyway, Charly did, like Slash! (Fallen Ride The Sky Video); The Berlin’s museum bank is huge as hell. I still don’t understand David Gonzales’ switch drop there (Flip Extremely Sorry Video)... Evil... Milä & Simu’s madness: They are not brothers for nothing. Simu is maybe quiet the most part of the time, but believe me, it’s better like this! Because, like his skating, when it’s time, it’s time, so if he’s partying, the kid will give everything! Get kick out of a bar, throw away a chair on the wall, get naked, etc... Same deal with Milä. What a example for his brother hehe... King of Tequila Suicide, Steve-O pain-stuff style, Rollerblade style stunts, Pop for miles, political posters collector, etc...

Pascal G. role-model: Serious, good looking, on time, skates everything, cultivated, you can always rely on him, takes care of himself, always ready, shares everything he got, stable job, doesn’t drink too much, non-smoker, no money troubles... I mean the kid that normal parents would love to have! Thanks for all man, hope it was not hard for you to spend those days with crazy idiots like us! The Dude’s slide: To land a crailslide was one of the many skate challenges. Claude who was at the time barely able to do a tailslide, decided to try. But he had no idea how to do this trick. Charly explained him that it basically a tailslide with a crailgrab, which means, back hand on the nose. Anyway, it seems it was not that clear for our Dude, so as usual, he did his way. He rode away clean with style a couple of tries before with a new trick: The dude’s slide! Yeah perfect fs tailslide with BOTH hands on the nose! Pascal M. backflip: After Charly lost his underwear during a fight with Simu (in front of our appartment) Pascal decided to do a backflip out of a chair (why?); He did. The Dude’s skatepark-review: For him, The Skatehalle in Berlin is more or less like the skatepark we’ve got in Biel... In reality, the vert-ramp (Pascal G. ripped it) in Berlin is already bigger tahn Biel. There are also a great bowl (Charly fs grind the door), and 2 mini-ramps. And I’m not even talking about the street-park. Anyway, it was a great session, even if a lot of the local kids there are fucking idiots. Better than nothing for rainy days (Bern still sucks...)... Doodah propaganda: When we left the town, pretty much every U-Bahn station was called Doodah something, like the cash-desk in Subway, police-car, and lot of others signs and stuff we found on our way... We maybe suck at skating, but we are real professional in guerilla-marketing! Some other highlights: Sancho’s (skate)lines and birthday presents, Simu’s Irish-Pub kicked-out, Charly’s no-shower award + almosr missed the plane, Pascal M’s slam, The Dude’s party animal performance, Milä stop smoking, Alexanderplatz kicked-out (FTP), Sie sind wieder zusamen, Cannabis field, Pascal G + Claudio best paparazzi award, Simu’s first try double-set ollie... etc... Nach der Auflösung wollten wir weiterspielen, also fragten wir unseren Buddy löne als bassisten einzusteigen. Hügli kannte ich vom ausgang und so haben wir uns mal im bandraum zum jam getroffen. Definiert ihr euren Musikstil? Was unterscheidet euch von anderen Bands? Wir mögen Alkaline Trio, Boysetsfire bzw. deren Musikstil. Wir versuchen, uns nicht allzu ernst zu nehmen, nicht allzu “cocky” zu wirken. Where do you got this “stupid” name from? We don’t remember... Wer/Was inspiriert euch für eure Musik? Uns inspirieren Dinge die uns beschäftgen z.b. unterschwellige Werbung, sich eingeengt fühlen, alltägliche Dinge. Die Musik und Melodie steht jedoch bei uns im Vordergrund.

Torf: Dieter Bohlen war schon immer unser ghost writer, ausserdem brauchen wir seine Stimme. Bald ist eure Plattentaufe (wann und wo?), wie ist die CD entstanden? Die Plattentaufe ist am 7. Januar in der Markthalle in Burgdorf mit Scream your name und A.F. aus dem Wallis. Bei ihnen in Naters Oberwallis haben wir unsere Platte aufgenommen. Is lady gaga an influence? Lady gagas DICK is an influence to Dieter Bohlens ass!
Propably ride with your favorite skater, which would be Andrew Reynolds! We already got to play with some of our Heros like Bad religion, Strung out, No fun at all or A wilhelm scream, which is great, but these bands of course aren’t interrested in making friends with some Swiss wanker band, hehehhe!
