walkway connecting bridge

This project focuses on a modular design manipulated by various operations to create interesting forms which have program dedicated for exterior& interior. The form also allows for a seamless path of circulation through the divided space. The program is also dictated by the modules fabricated using di erent materials allowing complete freedom for the space to adapt and reuse in the future. The site also has integrated a large connecting walkway bridge making the city reach the riverfront and site with ease. The project also focuses on recycling water and returning it back into the river.

continuous circulation without interruptions

outside open to air

This project focuses on dividing the program into dark and light programs based on the indicated use. The dark program is kept at the core and the light program is at the perimeter surrounding it. The light program has double height spaces in order to ensure large gatherings to take place. This is achieved through the use of a continuous spiral staircase and no perpendicular common walls. This allows natural flow of air and movement, with more larger spaces on the floor. The slabs are placed slanted and are pinned together due to the program requirement of auditorium seating. The structure builds upon the existing building and doesn’t remove the history and context of the place. The facade of the building also allows flexibility and adds dynamic moments for the user.

PUBLIC MARKET

Manhattan, New York 2023

Prof. Erika Hinrichs
etfe roof with space truss roo

This project looks at creating a public marker and a place for gathering for all through its simple easy layout and dedicated program. The market in this building is highlighted using an organic ETFE roof which allows for direct sunlight and controls the wind as well. The roof is adjacent to the second floor creating an unique experience for people to utilize the roof garden to look down into the market. The parametric brick rain screen as part of the facade allows wind to circulate and controls light through BIM and so wares.

These are series of detailed Construction Documents created for this project. There are facade, details Windows and Door Schedules, Tags, and Wall sections. These are all created using Revit on ACC. These drawings give a clear layout and also give clarity in terms of the building program and space. The bathrooms are designed to be ADA compliant, as well as the staircase. There is also the calculation of the wind and solar energy of the building and its performance.

CONTAINER PROJECT

Tiber

Rome

Island,
2025 Prof. Anthony Buccellato

The shipping container has been utilized in di erent method to manipulate spaces. It has been operated on itself to cut, open, bend, and rotate to create adaptable modules. The system lies on a simple space frame of columns and beams which act as the basic framework. The facade of the building is set to be changing overtime and be in contrast with the historic urban fabric of the city. This aggregation currently showcases the containers in a formation for a museum, which focuses on maximized views of the Tiber Island, and capturing artwork within its space.

Storyboarding programs and modules with circulation and viewing spaces, transforming a box with di erent glass and window openings.
