2019 - Passport to Summer Brochure

Page 1

PLAN YOUR JOURNEY Passport to Summer welcomes students from all schools to experience athletics, academics, and adventure on our campus. Are programs limited to Villa Duchesne and Oak Hill School students? Our summer programs are open to all students regardless of the school they attend. Where do the programs take place? All programs take place on the Villa Duchesne and Oak Hill School campus. Day Camps include field trips to St. Louis attractions. Who leads the programs? The educators who lead our summer programs are knowledgeable in their fields of study and enthusiastic about providing a fun, educational summer experience. Staff members are trained in First Aid and CPR, and a Registered Nurse is on campus during programming. Each Day Camp theme offers two sessions. Are both weeks the same? Each week of Passport to Summer is unique. Campers interested in a particular youth program may attend the first week, the second week, or both. Are youth programs the same as last summer? Some of our most popular youth program themes are back for 2019, but the activities are all new! Do participants need to bring sack lunches? Breakfast, lunch, and snacks are provided for all Day Camps. Is childcare available before and after the programs? Supervised activities are available at no additional cost beginning at 7:15 am and ending at 6 pm for students participating in Day Camps. What is the cancellation/refund policy? Refunds, minus a 10 percent administrative fee, are available up to two weeks prior to the program’s start date. For additional information, contact us at: summer@vdoh.org or 314.810.3454
