Vaughan is delighted to launch the Ellisfield Collection. Featuring renditions of beloved classics, such as the Bamboo Lantern and the Windermere Chandelier, it also includes the release of both contemporary and classic furniture, as well as new lighting pieces. From the tapered legs of the Colemore Chest of Drawers to the compelling simplicity of the Thackham Bookcase, this collection artfully combines beautiful and practical design.
Lucy Vaughan, Chairman and Co-founder of Vaughan Designs, comments on the collection:
“I am excited to be presenting the Ellisfield Collection to you. Throughout lockdown, creativity has been such a source of comfort and joy to me, the result of which you can see in the pieces here today. From a familiar table that I would see in my grandmother’s house, to a chest of drawers that for years has been placed next to our sitting room, each design brings me a feeling of being at home. Inspired by the aesthetic of the Arts and Crafts Movement, as well as containing considerable Japanese and Chinese influences, the pieces we’ve designed have come from a wealth of different backgrounds – undoubtedly adding to their uniqueness and complexity. It is my hope that you equally find comfort and joy in them.”

CONSOLE TABLE FT0133
A compelling, minimalist design, this table stands out with its clean lines and amara wood finish. The initial inspiration for it came from a traditional Ming piece of furniture, a period renowned for its emphasis on craftsmanship and form.
A streamlined design, this piece stands out with its walnut wood finish and black lacquered contrasting base. Pared down and minimalist in style, it takes its inspiration from Japanese antiques.

CHEST OF DRAWERS FD0010
Inspired by French design of the 1940s, this chest of drawers is an elegant piece thanks to the tapered legs and curved brass handles. Based on an original antique, it has a distinctly timeless feel to it. Finished in cherrywood.
MORESTEAD TABLE FT0128
Based on an original antique found in Lucy’s grandmother’s house, this piece centres around an Arts and Crafts aesthetic. Composed of two tiers, it has a wonderful decorative feel to it thanks to the knurled legs. Finished in acacia wood.
SOMBORNE TABLE FT0126
A more striking design, this piece takes its inspiration from Chinese ‘moon tables’. A motif used in Chinese furniture, it is then given a modern component with the contrast base. Finished in acacia wood with a black lacquered base.
LINFORD TABLE FT0131
A streamlined design, this piece stands out with its contrasting drawer and base. Pared down and minimalist in style, it takes its inspiration from Japanese antiques. Finished in walnut wood with a white lacquered base and drawer.
A neat and satisfying design, this side table has a classic hexagonal shape to it, and is subtly finished in oak.

A piece that combines practicality with style, this bookcase takes its inspiration from the Arts & Crafts Movement. Based on an original antique that Lucy and Michael found at a local antiques fair, it centres around crisp shapes and lines to satisfying effect. Finished in acacia wood.

Composed of three tiers, this etagere is classic in design and elegant in shape. Finished in acacia wood, it incorporates handmade brass castors.

Formed of three tiers, these etageres take their inspiration from 1950s design. A satisfying combination of wood and brass gives a sophisticated, modern feel. Finished in acacia wood with solid brass legs.

Based on an antique original Lucy and Michael bought at auction, this table harks back to the Aesthetic Movement. Available in both an ebonised wood and a light oak finish, it is finely decorated with fretwork detailing.
LECKFORD TABLE LAMP TC0134
Large in scale, this table lamp has a sophistication and monumentality to it. Initially modelled in clay by our design team, this ceramic piece is then given a striking antiqued finish glaze.
Modelled in clay by our in-house design team, this table lamp has an elegant shape thanks to its elongated neck. Reminiscent of contemporary pottery, it is given a textured, stone-coloured finish to striking effect. Finished in a mottled glazed ceramic.

Based on an original antique, this chandelier focuses on a foliate design and has been decorated with individually pressed and formed maple leaves in a gilt finish.
IBTHORPE LANTERN CL0339.IV
A truly decorative piece, this ivory white lantern is festooned with ornamentation both around the frame and on the arms. A rendition of our existing Marchwood Lantern, it is resplendent with foliate motifs that are interspersed throughout the design.

Adapted from a 1940s design, this chandelier has an elegant simplicity to it. Decorated with flourishing foliate motifs, it is given a more modern feel thanks to the ivory white finish.

Based on an original antique, this lantern is 1930s in feel. Exquisitely handcrafted, it is one of our most charming pieces. Lost wax casting produces the detailed brass work. It complements our existing Bamboo ceiling lantern.

Based on a vintage piece we used to sell, this wall lantern has a pared-down feel. Finished in brass, it is a classic design, with minimal decoration and clean, smooth lines.

A striking design, this brass wall light evolved from our Stratton Chandelier. Based on a vintage French piece, it harks back to the 1940s with its emphasis on elegance and form.
Pared down and minimalist in style, this wall light elegantly combines a single swing arm with the practicality of a flexible reading light. Available in both brass and bronze.
