The Vancouver Island Construction Association (VICA) and Canadian Home Builders Association – Vancouver Island (CHBA-VI) are proud to present the third annual Vancouver Island Building Industry (VIBI) Awards, taking place on May 29, 2026 at the Royal BC Museum and IMAX Theatre in Victoria, BC.
This one-of-a-kind gala event formally recognizes excellence in construction and consumer service across Vancouver Island, the Gulf Islands, and coastal British Columbia. The VIBI Awards celebrate the creativity, innovation, and craftsmanship of association members who tackle complex design/build challenges with distinction.

WOMEN IN CONSTRUCTION WOMEN IN CONSTRUCTION
Women in Construction (WiC) is a grassroots Vancouver Island network working to promote and support female participation in one of the key sectors of our provincial economy: construction.
WiC is open to anyone who considers themselves a “woman in construction”, as well as those who support women working in the industry. The network is comprised of private and public sector workers, students, engineers, apprentices, labourers, tradespersons, project managers, developers, architects, and professional admin staff.
WiC Nanaimo meets bi-monthly, taking a break in July and August.
WiC Victoria meets monthly, also taking July and August off.
