On my body I use Emmaus and for my face, I use other products because I haven’t gone into face care yet. I use Peter Thomas Rock. I have narrowed it down to this one because it exfoliates and helps to ease clogged pores.
Bothered by a problem on her skin, beautiful Amina Sagoe searched for a solution. The result was the birth of a skin care range called Emmaus. From running a procurement business, Amina is now into manufacturing of this beauty range which now distributes in Nigeria and the U.S.A. Born to an Egyptian father and a Nigerian mother from Ekiti State, Amina who is married to a man of Ghanaian extraction, talks about the journey to Emmaus. Have you always had this skin problem? I thought they were just in-grown hair but after a while, I stopped shaving my arm and it was still there. So, I knew it was not in grown hair and and I didn’t know what it was. I left it for a few years and later, I started researching online. I googled goose bumps on the hand and found out that it was actually a condition and that many people have it. I started looking for products that treated it. I bought quite a few but none did the job. You said you tried shaving and it didn’t work did you try waxing? Oh yes, I did. How do you joggle work and family? Honestly, I don’t have a life. But one day, the kids will grow up and I will be free. How did you go about looking for solution to your skin problem? I started the research online. I started with searching for the formulator. I went to a few places before I narrowed it down to one person. purpose. I was looking for something and working towards something. Now, I just don’t look at myself as just a mother but one who does more than just being a mother.
+RZ GLG \RX FRPH DERXW WKH QDPH (PPDXV" I was looking for a name; something really meaningful for the product. I didn’t want to call it one of those names like, star bright, glow or something like that. I wanted something very meaningful, It was actually my husband who came up with the name and when he said it, I’m like, I have read the bible but the name doesn’t ring a bell. So, I went back and read it and I further understood the verse the more. And I said that really makes sense. Revealing your skin is a journey that can take three to six weeks; something you start and you keep at. So the name stuck.

What is your beauty regimen like? Now that I have this product, my daily routine is very easy. I shower with the body wash, then I use the mini towel to wipe and then I apply my lotion. This is quite unlike when I had to use PD\EH VL[ GL̆HUHQW SURGXFWV
People have always regarded the quest for beauty as vain. What do you think? Beauty is not bad, it is when it is excessive that it is bad. I don’t want to go all religious but even in the bible, when it comes to fasting, we are encouraged not to look all droopy, to put some oil on our face etc. I know God wants us to look beautiful. So, why not? I think where it gets excessive is when people start doing all the plastic surgery and changing their whole look. I think that is a bit crazy. But just using your regular EHDXW\ SURGXFWV LV MXVW ¿QH Would you go that far to be beautiful? No. I’m too scared.
What is your diet like? I love rice although we are told that rice is not good for us. But I also get on the work out machine for like 40 minutes to exercise.

In a bid to ease the transportation system around the country especially for people working around waters, Bras Marine and Yachts Services, recently in Lagos, commissioned the first boat and yachts exhibition in Nigeria. Some of the boats displayed at the exhibition are Sundeck 240, a 24-feet boat, with convenience and Sundancer 310, a 31-feet, 10-people capacity boat with a cabin, two refrigerators and kitchenette. Chairman of Bras, Yomi Sonuga, explained that the initiative is to change the perception of Nigerians that Boats and Yachts are meant for top business executives only. He pointed out that his company does not only sell but also “leases out to individuals for celebration and patrol boats for security agencies” He disclosed that his company has signed a partnership deal with Sea Ray Marine, an American based boat and Yachts manufacturer, to ensure clients have access to top class after-service and genuine parts. The event which took place at the Bay Lounge at Lekki Phase one, attracted top business men and boat enthusiasts, who had come to view the the new collection.
