FRIENDS AND ASSOCIATES OF VANDERBILT BUSINESS:
FRIENDS AND ASSOCIATES OF VANDERBILT BUSINESS:
I am pleased to present the Vanderbilt Master of Marketing Class of 2025 Employment Report. In the program’s ninth year, we are proud to share strong outcomes from graduates during a difficult job market. Within six months of graduation, 84% of job-seeking graduates secured and accepted a full-time, short-term, or internship offer, reflecting our students’ persistence and adaptability in a market shaped by evolving employer needs.
Versatile Career Pathways: The Class of 2025 pursued a wide range of roles, underscoring the breadth of the Vanderbilt Master of Marketing skill set. This year’s top job functions included sales (23%) and digital marketing (15%), with additional graduates moving into general marketing, operations, brand/product, analytics, marketing communications, and other roles. These outcomes reflect shifting market demand and our students’ readiness to contribute across functional areas.
Industry and Employer Diversity: Graduates accepted roles across many sectors, led by media/entertainment (27%) and healthcare (13%), along with client services and technology, among others. In total, the class accepted 52 offers from 51 different employers, highlighting the program’s broad reach and the strong reputation of our students in the marketplace.
Alumni and Community Impact: We remain grateful for the alumni and community partners who support our students. This year, 24% of accepted offers came through school-facilitated activities, including alumni, faculty, and staff referrals, on-campus recruiting, and internships. Graduates also demonstrated strong initiative, as 76% of accepted offers were driven by student-led efforts, including personal networking and online job searches.
I am incredibly proud of the Vanderbilt Master of Marketing Class of 2025 and thankful for the alumni and employer partners who make these outcomes possible. Their engagement, combined with the students’ consistent effort and their coaching partnership with the Career Management Center, continues to strengthen the program and expand opportunities for future classes.
Sincerely,

Zeke Arteaga Associate Director | Career Management Center
