Valpo’s master of science in international economics and finance (IEF) equips students with the interdisciplinary, data-driven tools needed to address international financial challenges and shape economic policy worldwide.
The IEF program provides advanced training in economic theory, financial analysis, and data analytics, preparing students to tackle real-world challenges in a globalized economy. Designed to serve both domestic and international students, the program prepares graduates for impactful careers in banking, international development, economic consulting, and policy analysis.
The program holds a STEM classification, allowing international students to apply for up to three years of Optional Practical Training (OPT) in the United States, providing valuable time for career development. Students may also pursue an optional SAS certification in statistical software, adding a highly marketable credential to their professional toolkit.
