EXPERIENTIAL LEARNING Our comprehensive, interdisciplinary, and experiential curriculum ensures that students learn the skills they need to become leaders in their field and advance in their careers, no matter where life takes them. Students work with professors to conduct research and engage in the scientific process of discovery, creating new paths that combine psychology with their other interests and passions. In addition to labs, students engage in service learning, honors theses, and internships, using their knowledge their knowledge of psychology to serve their communities and expand their horizons. Signature programs, like Valpo’s Inside-Out Prison Exchange course, challenge you to step outside your comfort zone, learning alongside incarcerated individuals to explore justice and humanity with depth and compassion.
