EXPERT MENTORSHIP
Students benefit from the combined expertise of faculty from Valpo’s College of Business and College of Engineering. Over one-quarter of College of Business faculty hold degrees in engineering, offering students a rare depth of interdisciplinary perspective. Professors bring years of professional experience in fields such as environmental and industrial engineering, product design, and project management. In addition, every Valpo business student receives personalized support through a four-year career readiness program, giving graduates a head start for launching their careers or pursuing graduate school.
EXPERIENTIAL LEARNING
Learning in the integrated business and engineering program is driven by collaboration and real application. Students practice engineering problemsolving in hands-on lab courses, with access to 20 engineering labs on campus. In the College of Business, 100% of students complete an internship before graduating, and classroom experiences are enhanced by case competitions and partnerships with regional companies. Students also have the opportunity to study abroad globally, with Valpo partner institutions located in Cambridge, England, and Reutlingen, Germany, as well as get involved with student organizations, service projects, undergraduate research, and more.
