Iowa St. Dodgeville, WI 53533 zachary.leigh@da.wi.gov District Attorney Leigh; I, Becca Raven Uminowicz (as complaining witness/citizen complainant, hereinafter “Complainant”), submit this verified citizen complaint brought to formally allege that Village of Arena Clerk/Treasurer, DaNean Naeger, in Iowa County, Wisconsin, has committed criminal acts constituting: (1) Misconduct in Public Office, in violation of Wis. Stat. § 946.12; (2) Tampering with Public Records, in violation of Wis. Stat. § 946.72; and (3) Forgery, in violation of Wis. Stat. § 943.38. The following allegations are made upon personal knowledge of the undersigned, or upon information and belief where indicated, and are supported by the evidence cited herein. In support of the Complaint, I state:
Summary 1. This Complaint concerns instances where Village of Arena public records have been concealed and withheld from requesting parties, and where a public record has been forged so that it purports to have been made at another time. 2. This Complaint is separate from and does not replace the Verified Complaint of Wisconsin Misconduct in Public Office Law Violation filed with your office against DaNean Naeger March 15, 2025.
