Photo by Taylor Scott, Managing Editor Pictured is the last edition of Valley Sentinel in which a literary journal was formally announced, and it's Lexington & Jefferson literary and arts & culture section which provided a space for this idea to grow. In the foreground, open, is the first edition of the 'Barstow & Grand' literary journal published in the Chippewa Valley of Wisconsin that inpired the forthcoming literary journal, in part. After the official announcement last edition, Valley Sentinel is actively seeking support from interested individuals and organizations to bring the project to fruition. Opportunities for involvement include joining the workgroup responsible for assembling the journal, providing financial donations to support its production, and expressing interest in submitting work for consideration. The journal is very much still in its beginning stages and we welcome those interested in getting involved.

While formal submissions are not yet open, those interested are encouraged to reach out. Interested individuals can contact Alex Prochaska at alexprochaska. writer@gmail.com or Valley Sentinel at editor@valleysentinelnews.com for more information on how to contribute to the Lexington & Jefferson Literary Journal project.
