s the warmer summer months approach in Vale do Lobo, focus turns to enjoying the exceptional al fresco lifestyle, either on the golf courses, on the beach or in one of the many areas of unspoiled natural beauty. A great way to discover the resort while keeping fit and having fun is to take part in the annual Let’s Go Run Vale do Lobo moonlit run. This event, being held on May 19th at 20:30h, is free to enter and covers a 10km course around the resort with registration available on the evening. Vale do Lobo will also be welcoming the return of Open Foursomes Week between 14th and 20th May, with golfers all competing in this exciting and competitive pairs tournament for the 35th time. Over the six days of the tournament numerous types of competition are played - Foursomes Stableford, Singles Stableford, Scotch Foursomes Stableford, Greensomes Stableford, Fourball Team Competition and, of course, the Foursomes Matchplay Finals for the coveted trophies. Prizes are also awarded for Nearest to the
Pin and Longest Drive, making it a true test of each player’s ability. Down at the beach the bathing season has begun with the sun loungers and shades all ready for lazy days in the sunshine. If you are looking to raise the tempo while down at the beach then, from June onwards, you can experience jet ski, banana boats and inflatables throughout the summer. For those that prefer to relax by the pool, the swimming pools in the Praça have now reopened for the summer, making this a perfect spot to enjoy the weather, the sound of the sea and a safe environment for the entire family. explorando o resort. Exemplo disso é a 3ª edição do evento Let’s Go Run: uma emocionante marcha / corrida de 10km na sexta-feira, dia 19 de Maio, pelas 20:30h. A iniciativa é gratuita e a inscrição pode ser efectuada no próprio dia do evento. Uma oportunidade única para correr nos campos de golfe e ficar a conhecer bem Vale do Lobo. O resort prepara-se também para receber a 35ª edição do torneio Open Foursomes Week, entre os dias 14 e 20 de Maio, reunindo entusiastas da modalidade numa aliciante competição de pares. Ao longo de seis dias do torneio, decorrem diversos formatos, incluindo o Foursomes Stableford, Singles Stableford, Scotch Foursomes Stableford, Greensomes Stableford e Fourball Team Competition que culminam com a animada Foursomes Matchplay Final para eleição dos vencedores.
