The Black Diamond Ball, the Vail Valley Foundation’s largest fundraising event, features dinner and dancing, along with live and silent auctions. In addition, festivities also include the presentations of the Vail Valley Citizen of the Year Award and the Arte Davies Ingenuity Award, which recognizes a member of the VVF Staff. Last year, the Black Diamond Ball raised in excess of $500,000 to aid the organization’s mission of enhancing the quality of life in the Vail Valley for both residents and guests through athletics, education and arts.
