As of April 1, 2026, MCE customers will see a 14% reduction in electric generation rates along with a temporary bill credit through the end of the year, saving average small businesses about $45 per month. MCE’s Board approved these reductions to offset rising state-mandated charges.

Qualifying B1 and A1 electricity rate small businesses can additionally receive $25 off monthly energy bills through the MCE Cares Credit.
