2026 BOOST MOBILE GOLD COAST 600 OFFICIAL PROGRAM
Welcome from Supercars
Barclay Nettlefold Chair & Interim CEO, Supercars
Welcome to the 2026 Boost Mobile Gold Coast 500—where the Supercars Finals begin and the Gold Coast party starts, on the iconic streets of Surfers Paradise. For 35 years, street racing on the Gold Coast has delivered unforgettable moments and brought fans together for one of Australia’s great sporting occasions. Today, the Gold Coast 500 is Queensland’s largest annual sporting event, attracting around 200,000 people each year for a spectacular weekend of speed, sound and good times in one of the world’s most epic locations. Supercars have roared around the streets of the Gold Coast since 1994, and from October 23 to 25 you can experience the Championship at its most intense— world-class racing by day and a festival atmosphere by night, all in the heart of Surfers Paradise. On track, the stakes couldn’t be higher. The Gold Coast 500 is where the 2026 Supercars Finals Series begins, with the top 10 drivers launching their battle for the Drivers’ Championship. With high-flying kerbs, concrete walls
and zero margin for error, every lap puts you at the heart of Finals racing—fast, fierce and unpredictable. Beyond the track, Sound Track brings a new festival atmosphere to the MacIntosh Island entertainment precinct, with prominent artists across music and electronic genres. It means more for fans to see, hear and experience throughout the weekend, all set against the unmistakable backdrop of Surfers Paradise. On behalf of Supercars, I’d like to sincerely thank Boost Mobile, Tourism and Events Queensland and Experience Gold Coast for their continued support of this iconic event. To our fans, thank you for making the Boost Mobile Gold Coast 500 such an iconic celebration of motorsport, music and community. Get ready for three unforgettable days where the stakes are high, the sounds are loud and good times are guaranteed—as we celebrate 35 years of street racing and launch the 2026 Supercars Finals Series in true Gold Coast style.

Welcome to the 2026 Boost Mobile Gold Coast 500. The Gold Coast 500 is one of Queensland's most iconic events, bringing world-class racing, passionate fans and an atmosphere unlike anywhere else in Australia. For almost 30 years, this event has attracted visitors from across the nation and around the world, delivering a major boost for local businesses, supporting jobs and showcasing the best of the Gold Coast on the global stage. The Crisafulli Government is proud to back events that drive visitation, strengthen local economies and cement Queensland's reputation as the events capital of Australia.
2026 BOOST MOBILE GOLD COAST 600 OFFICIAL PROGRAM
Queensland is the Home of the Holiday, and there is no better time to experience everything our great State has to offer. While you're here for the racing, I encourage you to stay a little longer and explore beyond the Gold Coast, from the reef and rainforest to the outback and our world-class regional destinations. Every corner of Queensland offers something unique, and events like the Gold Coast 500 give visitors another reason to discover more of our State and keep coming back. To the drivers, teams, officials, volunteers and fans, thank you for being part of another spectacular Gold Coast 500.
Welcome from Boost Mobile
Bobby Geldens CEO, Boost Mobile
We’re pumped to be back as naming rights partner of the Boost Mobile Gold Coast 500 in 2026. For us, this event is more than a race. It’s one of the biggest weekends on the Australian sporting calendar, and every year we work our arse off together with the team at Supercars to make it bigger, louder and better for the fans. Whether you're trackside, in the grandstands, or at one of the many events happening across the Gold Coast, we want everyone to have an unforgettable weekend. Motorsport has been part of Boost Mobile's DNA since day one. We love the racing, we love the entertainment, and we love keeping Australians connected with great value mobile plans on the full Telstra Prepaid Mobile Network. This year we took things up a gear and expanded our partnership and investment into Supercars, announcing a multi-year deal that is helping power and connect the
Supercars Motorsport team and introduce Boost Mobile Race radio. It's a natural fit for a brand built on keeping people connected. With the Boost Mobile Gold Coast 500 kicking off the Repco Supercars Finals Series, the stakes couldn't be higher. The Boost Mobile Pole Award is back with more than $100,000 on the line, giving our fastest drivers even more reason to send it in qualifying. Boost Mobile has been backing Australian motorsport for decades, supporting drivers, teams and events right across the country. We're proud of that legacy and even prouder to be part of an event that brings nearly 200,000 fans together every year. To all the volunteers, officials and crew who've worked their arse off behind the scenes to make this weekend happen, thank you. Now it's over to the teams and the drivers. Welcome to the Boost Mobile Gold Coast 500. Enjoy the ride.
Welcome from the City of Gold Coast

There’s nothing quite like the Supercars festival on the Gold Coast. With 200,000 race fans, incredible on-track entertainment and interactive motorsports exhibitions on offer throughout the precinct, it is a weekend to remember. Motorsport is in our city’s DNA, with some of the biggest supercars teams based here. What makes this weekend special is the 2026 Repco Supercars Championship Finals Series, locked in as part of the three-day race program. Hosting the first round of this finals series ensures drivers and crews lay it all on the line with valuable

points on offer. I applaud Boost Mobile for resigning on to the Gold Coast 500 as naming rights sponsors. Your support is well recognised and brings an added level of corporate appeal as well as fantastic exposure nationally and internationally. This year is the 30th time we have waved the chequered flag for the best drivers and crew on Australia’s toughest street circuit and I look forward to presenting those famous surfboard trophies to the winning drivers and teams come Saturday and Sunday afternoon. See you trackside!

Welcome from Repco
Wayne Bryant
Chief Executive Officer Automotive Division, GPC Asia Pacific
Welcome to what is going to be one of the most wide-open Repco Supercars Championship seasons in recent history. Repco enters its sixth season as the naming rights holder, which has seen a period of much change, highlighted by the Gen3 regulations implemented at the beginning of 2023, the all-new finals system last year, and in 2026, the emergence of a brand-new player. When the Supercars grid lines up in Sydney, Toyota enters the fray with five Supras – the first time that the all-conquering Japanese brand will compete in Supercars. On top of this, Triple Eight Race Engineering will return to the Ford camp, and a crop of fast young rookies will try to make their mark on the category. Yeah ... there’s a lot to take in. Reigning champion Chaz Mostert brings the #1 to Toyota, leading a five-strong contingent of the highly anticipated Supras, split between Walkinshaw TWG Racing and Brad Jones Racing. It’s a bold new world for Mostert and the Toyota tribe, but if we know one thing about Toyota, it won’t settle for being second-best for too long. An expanded 14-round season begins under the bright lights at Sydney Motorsport Park and ends at the exciting bp Grand Final
in Adelaide. The big change is that Supercars will race twice in New Zealand as part of a doubleheader, with Taupō joined by Ruapuna near Christchurch on the South Island. These two New Zealand circuits join the likes of Hidden Valley, Wanneroo, The Bend and the prestigious Repco Bathurst 1000. The on-track Supercars action is what we all come for, and at Repco, we’re always aiming to go over and above for our fans. Look out for more cool fan initiatives at the circuit, including our famous fleet of cars. And while we focus on the future with Supercars, you’ll see Repco tip its hat during the year to Sir Jack Brabham, who 60 years ago, won the Formula 1 World Drivers’ Championship. Powered by a Repcodeveloped engine, Brabham became the first and, likely, last driver to win the title in a car bearing their own name. Trying to predict a title winner out of 25 of the best drivers from this part of the world is tough, and the Finals format makes it almost impossible! On behalf of every Repco crew member, we’ll be watching the Supercars season along with you because we have petrol in our veins and we can’t wait to catch up with you all at the track!

For over two decades, the Porsche Carrera Cup has pitted the brightest young talents against seasoned pros in equal equipment.
T
ypically, at this end of the lifecycle of a one-make category, numbers begin to peter out. Not in Porsche Equity‑One Carrera Cup Australia. In 2026, the class is at its very best, with bumper fields rolling out around the country, mixing professionals with the best pro-am drivers the motorsport ranks have to offer. At the front of the field, Harri Jones has been there and won that in Porsche competition – he has twice won the Carrera Cup title in Australia and has raced extensively internationally, including in the Formula 1-supporting Porsche Supercup. That said, competition is fierce at the top. Dylan O'Keeffe is back to defend his title from last year, while highly experienced racers like Aaron Love and Glen Wood are forever in the mix. A surprise packet who has stepped up to

the mark this season is Clay Osborne, who has won multiple races to date. The category has been a fixture on these shores since 2003 and has proven to be a star factory for talent that has levelled up, both here and abroad. Take, for instance, Matt Campbell, who won the 2016 Australian Carrera Cup title before rising through the professional Porsche pyramid to the heights of prototype racing. Next year he takes a leap of faith to join the ranks of being a Ford factory driver in international competition, which will perhaps open the door for him to return to Bathurst for the 12 Hour and the 1000. Looking at the grid for this weekend’s Repco Bathurst 1000, there has been ample talent developed in the Carrera Cup ranks. Exhibit A is 2021 champion Cameron Hill, who is now at the forefront of Brad Jones Racing’s Toyota Supra tilt.
2026 BOOST MOBILE GOLD COAST 600 OFFICIAL PROGRAM
Fabian Coulthard won the Porsche title in 2005, while David Reynolds rose to the top in 2007. Others with Carrera Cup experience include Matt Payne, Nick Percat, Cooper Murray, David Russell, and Craig Lowndes. If you enjoy this year’s field, next year is shaping up to be even better. The upcoming 992.2-spec model’s 4.0-litre six-cylinder heart will produce even more power, with other front-end improvements set to add downforce, increase responsiveness, and lower repair costs. Early overseas adopters of the platform have seen a continuation of the staunch racing for which the marque is famous. The season for the one-make wonders comprises a pair of tough street circuits: this weekend and the Gold Coast, plus the grand final for the class in Adelaide at the start of December. ■

The V8 SuperUtes is a class going from strength to strength, with deep fields turning on the thrills in machinery that resonates with the masses.
t
he Tyrepower V8 SuperUte Series continues to grow in popularity around Australia, with full fields turning in action-packed racing. While the on-track action from the category is forever a crowd favourite, perhaps the strongest suit of the category is the familiarity of the vehicles with the fanbase - the sales chart-topping dual-cab segment of the marketplace now has true relevancy on the racetrack. Picture an angry pack featuring the Isuzu D-MAX against the Mazda BT-50, Ford Ranger, Toyota HiLux, Mitsubishi Triton and Holden Colorado – it’s a recipe bound to redraw battle lines in the grandstands and car park. While the category originated in 2018, it truly came of age in 2021, when it ushered in its V8-powered era, and competitor

numbers surged. Despite the various vehicles involved in the class, a long list of spec components under the skin of the V8 SuperUtes helps ensure a level playing field across the different marques. A 6.2-litre V8 powerplant is paired with a six-speed transmission, featuring a range of standardised driveline components that simplify competitors’ operations. Big Brembo brakes provide stopping power, while low-profile Yokohama tyres and a lowered ride height have added to the sporting credentials of the package. Now in its eighth season, the 2026 season is shaping up as a classic. Following a tight 2024 season, which went down to the wire on the streets of Adelaide, with victory going the way of popular West Australian Adam Marjoram,

David Sieders sealed the 2025 title at Sandown by only seven points over Marjoram. All told, eight different drivers made visits to the podium last season, with a experienced hands set to be challenged this year by a fresh crop of emerging talent, eager to make a point. The 2026 schedule for the class sees the category return to the Dunlop Sydney 500, before heading south to Tasmania and Symmons Plains Raceway, before a trip across the Nullarbor Plain to MotorMall Wanneroo Raceway, and then Mount Panorama, for the Repco Bathurst 1000 event. The season is then rounded out by a return to street circuits, with the Boost Mobile Gold Coast 500 this weekend, plus the bp Adelaide Grand Final. ■

pack of angry ants or pint-sized racers, call them what you will, but the Battery World Aussie Racing Cars Super Series is a must-see part of the support category action at the Tyrepower Tasmania Super 440. Around half the scale of the road-going counterparts, Aussie Racing Cars have been developed over time to provide fast, close racing. While the spec underpinnings of the machines ensure even competition, a range of different body styles have been developed for the class, giving competitors the freedom to support the marque of their choosing. For the nostalgia buffs, there’s the 1940 Ford and FJ Holden reproductions, to the more contemporary Ford Falcon, Holden

Commodore and Cruze, Toyota Aurion, Nissan Altima, Hyundai Elantra, Euro GT, Chevrolet Camaro and Ford Mustang - there truly is something for everyone in the mix of available body styles. While a tightly controlled parity process has seen the cars evenly matched in terms of lap times, the Mustang has proven to be a popular choice amongst series champions in recent times, with Joel Heinrich, Josh Anderson and Justin Ruggier claiming titles, while Kody Garland on top of the pandemicshortened 2021 season, as well as last year's pointscore. Up front, propelling the machines is a motorcycle-derived 1.3-litre, 135 BHP twin-cam 16 valve engine that revs to 11,500 RPM, while the total package tips the

scales at only 500kg, resulting in a potent power-to-weight ratio. In a change for the category, chassis are now being produced by Triple Eight Race Engineering, with the first example debuting last year. This season's Battery World Aussie Racing Cars Super Series will be once again held over seven rounds, with at least five contested at Repco Supercars Championship events spread around the country. The schedule kicked off at Mount Panorama at the Bathurst 6 Hour meet, before visiting Symmons Plains, the Townsville Street Circuit, Queensland Raceway, Shell V-Power Motorsport Park at The Bend, with the season wrapping up this weekend on the Gold Coast. ■
