For the fiscal year ending June 30, 2025, the rate of return for TU’s endowment pool was 10.7% and the annualized 10 year return was 7.89%. The rate of return for the previous fiscal year was 7.7% and the annualized 10 year return was 6.9%. These results reflect a disciplined, long term investment strategy designed to preserve and grow your endowment while providing consistent annual support
What is an endowment?
An endowed fund is a gift invested in perpetuity to support The University of Tulsa. The endowment is the aggregated collection of all endowed funds gifted to the University by generous donors. Many of the funds are dedicated to specific purposes defined by the donor. The gift principal (initial dollar amount) is invested, while a percentage of the fund’s current market value is released each year for direct spending on the selected endeavor. Endowments allow your impact to continue indefinitely, supporting students, faculty and programs for generations.
