We are proud to announce for this first time since 2015, the UTS LSS has brought back the Dialogue publication!
Having run for the first and only time in 2015, the publication invites law students to share how their identities have shaped their experiences with the law. This year, students were invited to write submissions in the form of poems, short essays and creative short stories across themes of gender, sexuality, culture, race, mental health and religion. Overall, it is a unique opportunity to showcase the diversity of UTS law students and provides them the chance to share their stories beyond a purely academic perspective.
We received 12 strong submissions in various forms including poetry, creative stories, personal essays and tips. The pieces spanned themes of mental health, culture, ethnicity, spirituality, sexuality, belonging and family.
