Mallorca by UTMB® is an experience that extends beyond the race course. This guide is designed to help you follow the race, cheer on the runners, and plan your travel during the event. Here you will find information about the points where runner assistance is permitted, the places from which you can cheer on the runners, the best access options, and parking recommendations in each area. Before setting off, always check the expected passage times and bear in mind that these may change depending on how the race progresses, weather conditions or instructions from the organization. Important: providing assistance to a runner and accompanying them during the race are two different things and are subject to specific rules. Always check the instructions applicable to each location.

ASSISTANCE PERSONAL ASSISTANCE – SUPPORTER Runner assistance is only permitted at certain aid stations and under the conditions established by the organization. Assistance is permitted at the following aid stations: • SDT: Alaró and Lluc. • CPS: Alaró. ASSISTANCE IS NOT PERMITTED ON THE ETM OR CDA. At the Alaró and Lluc aid stations for the SDT, and at Alaró for the CPS, the runner may receive assistance from one person only. This person must identify themselves as a SUPPORTER using the corresponding accreditation and may only access the designated assistance area, always following the instructions of the aid station manager. All other areas of the aid stations are reserved exclusively for runners. SUPPORTER accreditations are provided together with the bib. The runner may give their accreditation to anyone they choose. The person providing assistance may only access the aid station with one hand bag of a maximum of 30 litres, intended to carry the products needed by the runner, such as food, drinks, or clothing. Assistance provided by professionals, or by any medical or paramedical professional, is strictly prohibited. This measure is intended to ensure fairness among all runners. Naturally, family and friends may cheer on runners along the entire course, provided that they respect the race rules and the instructions of the organization. ALWAYS FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS OF THE AID STATION MANAGER. 10
AID STATIONS WHERE ASSISTANCE IS PERMITTED: SDT AID.5 Alaró (km.60) AID. 9 Lluc (km.97) CPS AID.5 Alaró (km.60)
CHILDREN UNDER 14 YEARS OLD MAY ACCESS THE PERMITTED ASSISTANCE AREAS WHEN ACCOMPANIED BY THEIR FAMILY MEMBER, WITHOUT NEEDING AN ACCREDITATION.
Runners may only be accompanied in areas close to aid stations and at specifically authorized points. This allows for short family walks in areas where routes converge, but does not allow anyone to accompany the runner along the course or act as a “pacemaker”. Race marshals will be present at various points along the course and may impose penalties in the event of non-compliance with the regulations. REMEMBER! You can cheer on and accompany your runner during the race, always respecting the rules established by the organization. Being able to access a point to cheer on a runner does not mean that providing assistance is permitted there.
YOU CAN Cheer on the runner Wait for them at authorized points Provide assistance at Alaró and Lluc Access authorized areas
YOU CANNOT Accompany them along the course Act as a pacemaker Provide assistance at other aid stations Enter areas reserved for runners #MALLORCABYUTMB® | 2 0 2 6
ACCOMPANYING AND CHEERING ON RUNNERS To ensure equal conditions for all participants, people who are not registered for the race are not allowed to accompany a runner for part or all of the race.
11
TRACKING You can follow your runner’s progress during the race through the LiveTrail® app and UTMB Live. Check their split times and position on the course to see how they are progressing and when they are approaching the different checkpoints and aid stations. These tools will allow you to follow the race and better plan your travel between the different points along the course, always respecting the areas authorized for spectators and the instructions of the organization. HOW TO PLAN YOUR RACE TRACKING Do not try to follow the runner at every point. The distances, travel times, and characteristics of Mallorca’s roads, mean that it is better to select a few tracking points in advance. Before setting off, check the expected passage times, calculate the time needed to travel between points and arrive well in advance. Drive carefully. Many tracking points are located on mountain roads, with bends, narrow sections, and other vehicles, cyclists and pedestrians. Do not park on road shoulders or block access points, roads, or emergency routes. If you can not find parking at the tracking point, do not park in unauthorized areas. Find a safe alternative or travel to another tracking point.
BEFORE SETTING OFF Check the passage times. Check the weather forecast. Bring water and some food. Wear suitable footwear. Bring a power bank for your phone. Bring a headlamp if accessing the area at night or on foot. Plan your parking before setting of.
12

VALLDEMOSSA
BUNYOLA
Valldemossa is one of the best-known villages in the Serra de Tramuntana, located in a valley surrounded by mountains.
Located at the foot of the Serra d’Alfàbia, on the southern slope of the Serra de Tramuntana, Bunyola is a village with an agricultural and industrial heritage, closely linked to its mountainous surroundings.
Its narrow, cobbled streets, stone houses, and traditional architecture, reflect the history and character of this mountain village. LLUC
CÚBER
The Lluc Monastery is located in the heart of the Serra de Tramuntana, in the municipality of Escorca, in a valley surrounded by mountains and forests. It is Mallorca’s main spiritual centre and is home to the Sanctuary of Lluc, dedicated to the Mare de Déu de Lluc, the island’s patron saint.
Cúber, formerly known as Quelber in the Llibre del Repartiment, was once used for cereal cultivation and grazing. In 1971, the construction of the reservoir to supply water to Palma flooded the old estate houses. Today, the flatter areas of the estate are only visible when periods of drought are prolonged.
The complex consists of the sanctuary, basilica, monastery, and other buildings associated with welcoming pilgrims and visitors. Lluc is an aid station and has a large car park where you can support your runner.

Fornalutx is located in the Serra de Tramuntana, a few kilometres from Sóller, in an area dominated by the slopes of Puig Major, the highest mountain in Mallorca. With around 700 inhabitants, the village has preserved much of its traditional structure and character.
Port de Sóller is the only natural harbour on Mallorca’s northern coast and is located in a sheltered bay surrounded by the mountains of the Serra de Tramuntana.
Its narrow, cobbled streets, stone houses, and cultivated terraces surrounding the village, reflect the architecture and way of life characteristic of Mallorca’s mountain villages. Located at an altitude of around 150 metres, Fornalutx overlooks the Sóller valley and offers exceptional views of the mountain landscape and the Mediterranean.
Historically linked to fishing and maritime trade, the port has maintained its connection with the sea, although it now combines this tradition with significant tourist activity. All races finish at Port de Sóller.

LLUC

FORNALUTX
PORT DE SÓLLER

MEET… NOFRE! At Mallorca by UTMB®, we like to surround ourselves with great partners. And this year, we have a very special one: Nofre, our virtual goat. Inspired by the goats that are part of Mallorca’s landscape and that you may spot along many of the island’s trails and mountains, Nofre is here to accompany you throughout your Mallorca by UTMB® experience and, above all, to lend you a helping hand. Have a question? Ask Nofre. She’s here to help, answer your questions and make preparing for your adventure a little easier. WHY NOFRE? Because we wanted a name that truly belongs here. Nofre is a traditional Mallorcan name and also conveys a sense of warmth and friendliness: two qualities we want our virtual assistant to embody. Now you know her. Nofre is waiting for you.

7 KILOMETRES TO KEEP A LEGACY ALIVE The Memorial Guillem Sec joins Mallorca by UTMB® as a 7-kilometre charity race along the Mediterranean. A sporting challenge created to remember, share and, above all, add kilometres to the fight against childhood cancer.
SOME SOME RACES RACES ARE ARE MEASURED MEASURED IN IN KILOMETRES, KILOMETRES, ELEVATION ELEVATION GAIN, GAIN, OR OR TIME. TIME. OTHERS OTHERS ARE ARE ABOUT ABOUT SOMETHING SOMETHING MUCH MUCH BIGGER: BIGGER: THE THE REASON REASON THAT THAT BRINGS BRINGS US US TO TO THE THE START START LINE. LINE. The Memorial Guillem Sec belongs to the latter. A 7-kilometre race taking in some of the most iconic corners of Port de Sóller, with the Mediterranean always in sight and the Serra de Tramuntana as its backdrop. But its finish line represents something far beyond sport: supporting the fight against childhood cancer. The race honours Guiem Coll Bestard, “Sec”, one of the driving forces behind the 1 Km de Vida charity initiative in Sóller. A project born from the desire to turn sport and personal challenges into a way of raising funds for childhood cancer research and supporting children affected by the disease and their families. Guiem passed away after a long battle with cancer, but he left behind a powerful legacy of solidarity in Sóller, Fornalutx, and the surrounding area. A spirit that now continues to travel across the trails of Mallorca through this Memorial.

From Sa Creu Lighthouse to Cap Gros Lighthouse, with the sea by your side The route starts in a privileged setting: Sa Creu Lighthouse, in Port de Sóller. From there, participants will follow the coastline towards Cap Gros Lighthouse, enjoying spectacular views over the harbour, the Mallorcan coastline and the mountains of the Serra de Tramuntana. After reaching the Muleta area, the route heads back towards the finish line, completing a fast and accessible out-and-back course designed to enjoy the surroundings and share a day where sport and solidarity go hand in hand. Because this time, crossing the finish line will mean something different. When a race bib becomes a helping hand The Memorial also aims to turn every entry into a direct contribution. Funds raised through race-bib sales, excluding the 8% corresponding to administrative management costs, together with 100% of voluntary donations, will be donated to Fundación Unoentrecienmil, an organisation dedicated to supporting research to find a cure for childhood cancer. Those who wish to contribute beyond their race entry will also be able to make a charitable donation.
